I love how the heart and soul of AIC doesn't put himself in the center but leaves that to Duvall, that's pretty classy. They both harmonize very well, not quite Layne but close enough to keep the AIC sound going. I like how Duvall isn't trying to be or replace Layne but to carve his own place into the band. I'm in recovery for drug addiction. I can say that I made the choice to abuse drugs(oxycontin and cocaine) and when it finally brought me down I threw in the towel. What people who aren't addicts don't understand is the power addiction has over you not only mentally but spiritually as well. It's a shame Layne couldn't pull through. He seemed like an amazing guy.

If you have seen the last performances with him live in 1996 when they opened up for KISS, he looked shot and almost on his way out then sadly.
