2) When it comes to pan and tilt shot, the motion between start point and end point is blur and out of focus, which I won't encounter when using PD170P.
3) Objects color tone seems dull and wasn't really stand out as PD170P. For instance: The blue sky is not as blue as it is. Does it has to deal with x.v. color function or other color tone setting?
Could it be any website or forum that i may refer to for help?
Hi, I just started off with Sony HVR-Z5P(Asean model code for Z5E). I was previously Sony DSR-PD170P user. There's a few things i would need advice:
1) I notice Z5E tend to focus more on background subjects. For instance: When i was shooting a 3-shot wide framing (auto focus mode), the background seem clear, sharp and more stand out than the front persons. Is it has to deal with the macro focus function?
Thanks for showing your settings, do you not use the steady shot function for any type of reason? Just wondering if it makes a difference to the clarity of the picture, thanks
If this has been shot in DV, how come you uploaded it in 720p?

@EluraUser
Make a project in Edius with HD settings.

@nul10productie What's the point? Why did you upscale from DV to HD when you could shoot in HD?

@EluraUser
The other 2 cams where DV and edit in DV, this is only a sample of 1 cam.

Hi, why did you set -3 dB gain? At 0dB you could have enlightened the scene a little more, which would not be a bad idea ... or not?

@miospaziovideo
More detail with -3db and less noise in the black parts.

When you use a tripod you do't use the steady shot. You can see it in the picture.
When you make a PAN or TILT the CAM think wooow i need tot correct the motion.
