  • you wanna win put boobie in.

  • to everyone bitchin and moanin "oh let them play. man up, dont play if you dont wanna get hurt". stfu. you guys are faggots. its something you cant control. no equipment is going to stop a concussion. Ive had over 8 medically documented concussions from football, lax, hockey. i was always staying out and playing. I LOVED FUCKING UP KIDS. man being a ILB and just fucking up that RB or the QB was the shit. but it will fuck up your life for the rest of your life. all over hs football? stfu you fags

  • Just let them play. Getting hurt is all part of the game. Of course be careful but come on.

  • @yoyo9131 ur a racist jerk who dunt no lil shyt bout nuthin so stfub -:P

  • if u dont want to get hurt dont play.

  • @AirForcesgt1 Easy to say, until you try to spear someone and break your neck.

  • dude concussion sucks i have an on going one and i play youth football and it wont heal it and i cant play to my poteinteil

  • HOT NURSE!!!

  • I've had around 5 concusions through out my football career, im only 15. I took this year off football. I've been working out and trying to get my neck alot stronger. But I don't know if I should join football next year considering i'll be the youngest on the team. and I'm a player who has to play deffence and tail back. and special teams. Should I play or not? i'm not ready to through my whole like away for football

  • @NickSedmak go for it. i've had concussions in football too. but thank god i caught the symptoms. i'm suiting up for my next football game after sitting last game from a concussion.

  • @NickSedmak You are very wise. Five are fare too many concussions to have had by 15, and having a strong neck really is no protection. T I see a lot of kids whose lives have been very screwed up by concussions, and a 15 year-old brain is even easier to screw up than a grown up one, no matter your size. Save your brains, you don't get another set.

  • The accumulative effects of the impacts - get increasingly worse.

  • hahaha when i was in the ER they asked me to count backwards by 7's from 100 wtffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • @NoFear575 fuck that i would have been 100 7 0 that good

  • yeah, i always see pro athletes leading with their helmets

  • i just got a concusion and i have the best equipment in texas

  • i have had 4 concussions and im fine

  • I got a concussion and 2 touchdowns today in my high school football game!

  • Where is this school

  • Yo wtf?

I cant even name the months backwards when im normal !

  • @XVx3xNxOxMX true dat

  • @XVx3xNxOxMX hahahahaha

  • My high school football team has 3 full time football trainers and 1 full time athletics nurse. And many student trainers

  • what football positions are more likely to get a concussion?

  • @TheBoss2288 water boy

  • This is so fucking stupid. If you have a concusion.. Dont fucking Stay in.. come the fuck out.. if you keep hurting your brain more and more.. you will be fucked in the long run.. Just take about a 3 week sentence.. And your good go back a fresh player,

  • shit, man. i did the same thing. i got hit really bad, i didn't feel good, but i didn't tell coach. at half time i start feelin really weird, and black spots appear in my vision, so i tryto run over to coach, when i get there i'm like, "i don't.." and i passed out cold right at his feet.

I give my best to Max.

  • Lawyers and law suits will free up the money.

Just as important of topic as sex ed, driving ed abd drug awareness.

  • hey im 15 and i have played for 3 years and every year ive played i have gottin a very bad concussion and they feel like shit i still get really bad headache everyday so as you could see im done playing!

  • and then the coaches get all bitchy when you want out cause you start seeing little puffy stars and shit... fuck i dont think i am going to play this year... my last year too... i think i will just focus on wrestling... we dont even have a trainer for football...

  • i've had shit like that..... i had to be on medication and shit for like four weeks and i was always high.... it kinda makes you think... how fun is this sport really... i fucked my knees up twice and almost tore the soft tissue under my knee caps... it's kind of a stupid sport.

  • man sometimes when we do report something to the coach they just yell and tell us to get back on the field till something happens

  • @canima90 Gee....nothing has changed since I played. My coaches use to always tell us that the worst thing you could do was to take yourself out of a game. I see the attitude is still alive and well.

  • @Mxyzptlk562 yup i told my baseball coach that i was not feeling good during a game i was felling light headed and out of this world he said dont worry when i go up to bat i collapse

  • damn i remember when i got a concussion my sophmore year! that shit was not fun!

  • dam my high schools helmets are like 5 eyars old and we 3-5 concussions a year.

maybe if they sold the old helmets and got new ones they would solve alot of problems

  • i had a concussion this year, and man they dont feel very nice >.< lots of nausea, and headaches.

  • hahaha ive had 4 concussions in one season and two in a game, but now i cant do maths properly :( simple maths confuse me, stupid coach not training me on how to hit properly or how to block on special teams but the block i layed on this kid on kick return, head to head blindside hit the guy was out cold, i was blind from one eye for about 20 minutes, fucking hard playing middle backer with one eye lol

  • concussions are not a joke :(

  • CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO

  • I was a running back in high school and a free safety my freshman year for the University of Houston. I bet I experienced more concussions than I can count. I started experiencing strange episodes and had to quit college sports. Now I am a 39 year old with progressive MS. No proof that those head shots had anything to do with it but still hard not to wonder.

  • Next year is my freshman year in Highschool, im just wondering what are my chances of getting a concussion after ive had surgery on my nose from a baseball injury?

I also broke three other bones in my face the same day and had two air bubbles.

  • @holyshitbmth i would deffinetly go and order an xenith helmet, ive had 5 concusions through my football career and now that ive gotten an xenith ive tooken some harder hits to the head and have walked away without a concusion, there a little expensive but a good investment if you got a whole high school career and want to go on after high school, look em up online

  • @offensivebackofyear Sounds good (:

is it like the one's college playes are starting to use?

  • @holyshitbmth i dunno how big they are in the states yet, but they are made in the states it hink lol i dunno our school got them and there the newest best thing and everyone liked them cause they helped alot with head injuries there better then the new speed revolution helmets

  • @offensivebackofyear lmao alright.

I didnt see a price anywhere how much is it?

  • @holyshitbmth well when i bought my own i kinda cheated and got a deal through my school =p but around 400dollars, but if you get it through your school im sure you can get it for 350

  • @offensivebackofyear Wonderful, does the school put the stickers on and everything?

  • @holyshitbmth no clue there thats all up to your school, i just bought a yellow helemt cause that was our team helemt color, but i bought my own helemet after this year of high school

  • @offensivebackofyear Okie dokie (:

thanks for all the help (:

  • if max dident suck he would be alright

  • @MrNeondeion2002

    It wasn't Max's fault,

    well somewhat,

    it was his O-line.

    They sucked!

  • Lol 0:09

  • @Gondorcon ahahahahaa

  • i had one that i got during a summer camp never healed then 2 months latter got one couldnt remember anything for 3 days, and the months following are lost for me, took me close to 5 months to recover, its serious stuff just make sure you get good mouth gurds and hemlts

  • In boxing they drink a lot of water to avoid concussions I hear. After every 3 minute round. Your brain is kind of floating on water. Supposedly this helps boxers because they are always taking shots to the head. How many football players take water every 3min or 5mins, they can't on a 12 play drive. Too much water and you cramp up. Gotta do it just right but still have to tackle right. Of course it is a game of collisions.

  • i'm not totally sure but i think its more like to little water and u cramp up

  • @wallstreetfox Your brain floats because of Cerebrospinal fluid produced by the blood. The water they drink is used for blood circulation which helps to renew the Cerebrospinal fluid in the brain constantly.

  • It's a spinebuster @ 0:19

  • I got a concussion once. I was 10.

I get alot of headaches now. Which sucks.

  • Concussions accumulate long term non reversible damage. Doesn't show up for many years, but the results of the damage begin showing up after 40 when memory starts to go and depression sets in. Usually headaches start that don't go away. I just begin to wonder did these kids realize they were trading their brain for a few seasons of glory. Probably not. Sad

  • i can barely say my months foward, better yet bakward

  • If you can't say the months backward how will you know what "red flash 14" means on the next play?

  • you ask your teamates.

  • That's so sad about Max. I'm glad my high school had a trainer.

  • fuck this, you know my brother was about to end his senior year in high school, he was getting looked at by some big schools to, and he got a severe concussion, and wasn't able to play again, now my dad won't let me play my senior year and i was more than likely to go off and play in college, fuck scientists, let the kids with balls do what they do and stop fucking up parents point of view on sports your all a bunch of pink pansy's.

  • saw a smokin chick like this at tiny[dot]cc/gapingpussy

  • lol ive had 5 concusions, then i got an xenieth helmet, with those helmets its impossible to get one ive been hit in the head way harder then i had with our old helmets and never got one with an exieneth

  • Stewie has a football head!

  • Man at 0:17 the guy got drilled

  • say your months BACKWARDS form october!! that kid who got hit did better that me when i tryed.!

  • that so stupid i play football and im fine

  • that is a sad story.

makes me think twice about concussions

  • sad story man

  • say the months backward from october??

is that lady serious? ppl without concussions find that hard to do

  • @jimbean99 i think the point of that was she didn't want him to go back in the game

  • wow that teams offensive line isnt worth shit if the quarterback is getting hit like that.

  • we have a trainer, but he just tells us to put ice on everything

  • @Batman813 "i just tore my acl" "ahh put some ice on it and walk it off!"

  • Whoa that guy at 0:08 got jacked up big time!!!!

  • This guys Oline definetly has a guilty conscience about his injurie.

  • I live in Australia so American football is different to what we play. What we do play is rugby league which is a contact sport, but for high school/college age football teams we have altered the game so it is non-contact. I don't understand if concussion is such an issue for this age group why the rules and type of game aren't altered to reduce this type of injury or fatality?

  • well rugby doesnt have the crushing hits as american football, though rugby has hits, and they can cause injury, they do not have people running full speed and coliding, like in american football.

  • ok i am a junior in high school and i have been out for a total of 4 weeks due to a severe concussion i gave to myself from hitting a kid so hard i broke some of my helmet. after watching this video i am really scared to even step back onto the feild. We are first in district right now with a record of 2-0 and need two more wins. we have the chance for playoffs and the team needs me for the last game which is in two weeks. what should i do.

  • Neck support is VERY important. many concussions are VERY SERIOUS. a kid i know died from the second impact thing, he had a concussion, got hit, and died instantly. dont play with a concussion. give it some time. btw having more than 4 concussions can cause severe brain damage.

  • in that situation i would get back on the field. its a risk but what is life without risks. but you should be cautious. see what you hit but dont go for the big hits. just do your job. throw your shoulder into his gut or something try to avoid head contact. do that and you'll be fine. i was in a position similar to yours

  • i mean but football is unpredictable, you never know whats gonna happen on the next snap, and when youre cautious in a game the higher chances u have of getting hurt.

  • Comment removed

  • that's exactly why its called a contact sport.

  • I'm a certified emergency medical responder (entry level paramedic) and I volunteer at my old high school as an athletic trainer. Obviously I deal with these all the time; had one last game and another player who had a concussion a few games before came off complaining of dizziness and a sore neck. I have to say, this shit scares me lol

  • I respectfully ask you do not claim to be an athletic trainer unless you are certified and licensed as an AT. ATs are health care professionals who go to school and earn a degree in AT and pass a National Examination. Being a "certified emergency responder" does not qualify you to be an AT. You may also want to examine your state laws and find out if you are exceeding your scope of practice. Be careful opening yourself up to a lawsuit by exceeding your education and training.

  • Not in the states. I know what you mean and believe me I was rather skeptical on calling myself that. As the label they give me is sometimes athletic trainer but they mostly call me a Trainer.

  • Thank you for clearing that up. I appreciate your understanding of the comment and the differences between the two professions (EMS vs. Athletic Training). Good luck in your future.

  • i earholed the fuck out of a kid, knocked him out and gave him a concussion.

  • cant take the heat? then dont play

  • Wow your cool (not)

  • Bitchhh, I give concussions, I dont get them, d tackle and end baby :)

  • D end is fun but O takkles hold too fkin much, those cunts

  • doubt it

  • DEFENSIVE ENDD!

    6'1 200lbs.

    i love itt!

  • am a defensive end so i dont get concusions =]

    i give cuncuosions ;]

  • I'm a DE too, don't you love it? :)

  • hell yeh!!

    high five!!

  • how are all theese kids getting concussed ?

lol best believe i'm gettin off after a concussion after seeing this ha

  • i got kicked in my head when i was on the floor but glad it didnt mess up my head

  • poor guy man.

  • shit i dont even no the months backwards

  • jesus man. thats horrible what happened to him

  • i feel bad for the kid he deserves a better life it really struck me when they said you were injured in a football team and he said what?

  • i have gotten 2 concussion in football and gave 6 concussion to my opponent but it hurts really bad but i was so focused on staying in game that i didn't care how bad i felt so my mind will tell my body nothing is wrong

  • when i was in high school i got a concussion during my junior year i became really violent toward everyone on the sideline and couldn't remember my name, the score, where we were or what had happened i don't remember anything from when i was hit till around four hours later one of the scariest things that's ever happened to me

  • man wit like one week till hell week im debating on keeping my head up or not shoot and that whole recite the months thing i might of been screwed even without the concussion lol

  • WhoaH iM def Not DroppiN My Damn Head This Year..LoL Vid Scared Me Straight

  • Ray. THis is Max's dad. The trouble with a brain injury or severe concussion is that the injured player does not think they are really hurt. Max's only complaint was that his chin hurt and that he had a hard time breathing.

  • Yeah, that shit sucks. Im so glad i was knocked out for 20 seconds or noone would have known

  • are you seriously max's dad? if you are tell him a young man from from michigan hopes he has a great life and that he gets back on track .

  • can you imagine how much his head hurt and how dizzy and messed up he felt before he fell down unconscious? thats dude who fell into a coma is tough as fuck

  • lol i couldnt even recite the months backwards from october without having to think about it for some of em lol

  • maybe your cuncussed haha

  • thats women is hot guy lol

  • play defense unless your a god on offense

  • dude i start football practice at klein oak as a incoming freshman. and lookin at this makes me think a lot about leading with your head

  • i had a sever concussion in a varsity game.worst headache of my life!

  • yea im a mike lb and my first injury was a hyper extended knee and the two bones that make your knee broke past the cartilage and hit each other causing some pretty bad bone bruising. and the same injury i sprained my mcl and tore my calf muscle wen my leg went backwards 140 degrees

  • i play db and wr incoming freshmen only incountered 1 injury in my life and tht was in pop warner which was a sprained ankle hurted pretty bad for my first injury though

  • dam that sux my first injury i ever had was a torn acl n mcl my stupid coach got my leg worn out in the 3rd qtr for puttine me to much

  • Holy crap my dirst injury was a broken Ankle i played Qb and the other team grabed my ankle in the pile and snapped it i cried and i was screaming cause my bone came through my sock

  • you dont tear your acl or mcl for your legs being tired

  • due to "overzealous" coaches i suffered 5 concussions last year and can't play my fucking senior year cause some dick head wouldn't recognize that i had a severe injury and let me sit out a few games. BTW im a pretty undersized linebacker, 5'11" 195

  • dude i know how you feel i got 5 concs to but i get to play my last year some how, your height is small weight is good im 6'1 and 150 and play rush end for my last year :P

  • my highschool we use revolution helmets for freshman, JV, and varsity...we are stating to get new helmets now too...

  • yeah revos are good.. we had them at my old school before i transferred. now i have DNA and its a pretty good helmet but i like revos a lot more.

  • yo man DNA's suck. i had one last year and got a pretty bad concussions

  • Yeah revos are a lot better. DNA's give me the worse head ache during practice and stuff..

  • because people who play rugby are fuckin idiots

  • i blame that fucking O line for lettin them hit the qb....dumb shits (dont worry i play O line to so i know how it feels...)

  • From a DT I just like to say I love the look on your faces when I break past. :)

  • i play O line and D line. i love the O lines face when i get past them. And i also love the feeling when you block the shit out of a DT and you know that ur quarter backs ass is safe lmfao:P football is awesome=)

  • im a rb and guys like u make the game worth playing.... the line is where the game is won and lost

  • 00:16

    dat dude needs a lineup

  • LISTEN COACHES!!!!! TEACH THE KIDS TO KEEP THERE HEADS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bad things happen when your heads down

  • Brain chip - CHECK MY SITE.

  • 5.) Both are tough sports and I am sure I could combobulate an amazing reel of highlight hits from both. However, in the end, American football takes the cake.

  • you are the man=) thank you man lol. u are 100% true FOOTBALL FOR THE WIN. but im not hateing on rugby:P but football is cool

  • '4.) they are dragging the guy down from behind or falling with the opponent using body weight to drag them down. The ball is constantly pitched backwards in rugby allowing a player to avoid being hit by pitching it or if he is hit to be hit from a guy close to him(thus not as much speed). If the movies hold any truth, rugby is a bit more lenient on violence like punches to the face etc.

  • 3.)

Other times a receiver can be airborne and stretched(arms extended up) to catch a pass...this leaves him completely exposed and vulnerable to be "creamed." All of the bones I have broken are due to football. I can see how rugby may have just as many, if not more, small injuries and perhaps more blood is spilt since noses can easily be broken with no face protection. When I see MOST (keyword: most) rugby 'tackles,'

  • 2.)

. Football players are almost always much bigger(ie. more mass) and generally faster(depending on what position), thus faster acceleration.

From what I've experienced the pads also have a double affect. Yes, they do protect you, but the other guy knows he is protected too and that allows him to place his "armored" shoulder into you at full speed and force. You put two(sometimes more) players on a collision course for one another and you are best prepare to get your world rocked.

  • 1.)

I mean no disrespect to our foreign friends, but when people say rugby is a rougher/harder hitting sport than football...I just laugh. I played tackle football for a number of years and I have played variations of rugby and there is no comparison. One defines a hard hit? The answer is the amount of force involved. The formula for force is mass * acceleration.

  • Comment removed

  • we charge in there using speed+large mass= more pain. Rugby are hits from close range you dont have one guy from all the way down the field going at you mate.

  • yea our fball players are huge and fast.......250 pounds of muscle flying after u

  • yeah im a soccer player, dont bash me lol im not trying to front how great it is or anything...cuz its obvious =D...but no i just started playing football for the first time in my life today and yesterday and they through me on D line as Defensive end and i gotta say when i broke my guard and hit the running back full speed it sounded and felt like it hurt more then when i used to get hit back in rugby

  • soccer is a tough soprt too :) lol.......yea i think its cause in football u have no reserves and go full out but in rugby ur concious of ur head getting hurt and u sort of brace for impact ya kknow

  • i believe u but trust me bud ask a scientist......rugyb is very ruff but nfl has more high speed collisions sorry its jus a fact when u have a guy that runs a 4.3 across the field and blindside someon then its geunna be bigger than rugby.......and the avg size of a nfl player is bigger to a rugyb player....
