People can say what they want about John Force, but at the end of the day, he is "The Man" when it comes to funny car racing. He always engages the fans, comes to win and always give you your monies worth.

When his carrier is over, all drag racing fans will surely miss him. There will never be another like John.

the timeing block hit john car and it blowed the tire and thats why he crashed!

Watch it again....the 1st timing block hit the wall behind him then the car started to come apart the second timing block doesnt even make it to the car breaks apart and i doubt a foam timing block could puncture a tire

Actually It had nothing to do with the timing blocks.

The same thing that happen to John happend to Eric Medlen.......The car went into tire shake so badly the car broke apart (which is what is suppose to happen to dissapate the force of the car) The problem was the car broke apart to close to the firewall instead of right behind the front wheels. Thats why John got so tore up

They played a angle of the race from the far end of the track once .. just once.

When it comes to racing at the Texas Motorplex if you want complete coverage do not buy a ticket you are better off at home.

I had to make phone calls to know what took place concerning this accident... and they knew more than the spectators at the track... does that seem appropriate?

I remember when I was a little kid john let me sit in his car and rubed my head for good luck before a race all because I had red hair. He I missed this race does anyone know if ashley raced after that and if so how did she do?

I was at the race on 9-23-07 and just arrived home. At the track they played (1) video about 3 hours after the accident and did not replay it. Texas Motorplex should be ashamed by not running the replay sooner and often at the track. EVERYONE at the track was upset by the lack of information provided by the Texas Motorplex after the incident. They lost alot of future ticket sales including mine by censoring this mishap to paying customers at the track.

it's not just NHRA, it's not just the racetrack... They can't just have the cameras go to the scene, sponsorship issues, team issues, family issues, etc. etc... so somebody obviously made the decision not to.
