@denisblog 3rd artist is Martine(.around2.24)She is using sanguine on Ingres paper. If you watch in1080pHD full screen size you can see the very characteristic linear ingres grain.
07:16 'comme tu es normal' ...oh my, that made me laugh so hard, right after yvadmil said that's the worst thing for a parent to say to their child when it's posing! :D
You know, Davy, I never thought one could encounter fear in being artistic, but the little experience that I have has given me a nasty wake-up call. As you imply in the video, you really do need courage to be an artist and to become proficient in your medium. If you allow fear to seep into your psyche, the artist and his work will show it. At 8:43 is a magnificent piece. EXCELLENT video (as always)..
@shysterlicious A bit of tension is essential ,it sustains your concentration level, and banishes sloppy mistakes, but too much is unhealthy for both the artist and for the work of art. Drawing a portrait is not rocket science and noone is going to die if we cock it up! If I get too intense I try to
imagine that I've got a scalpel in my hand rather than a crayon and that a slip will kill someone. That usually helps me get some perspective on the reality of the situation.Be bold and enjoy your art
The 1st subject on charcoal ( i think) is good. Do you have a full coverage on that portrait? I want to see it from beginning to end. Please upload it!
Vraiment c trop beau, les gars sont trop fort,j'aimerai savoir kel matériel utilise celui qui travail avec le pinceau,c'est quoi de l'huile,et comment il arrive a étaler sans probleme si c'et de l'huile???
You drew the portrets of our daughters. You did that very well. We promised to watch your youtube chanel.I like the movies you make. Hope to see you again when we are in Paris. Greetings Jaap en ESther from Holland
