Thanks for the great video,I just bought a new 19ft Palomino Puma.I would like to build a TY-DEAN teardrop as it will be handy just for me & the wife to tow with my Jeep Compass and use less gasolene.My question is ,Did all the wiring diagrams come with the plans or did you have to sweat it out yourself.I am a lousy electricianso would need the wiring instuctions.Thanks great job.
IDK what you paid for all that to build the tear drop but you can snag an old airstraem off craigs list and temodel it and save a bundle. The one I have was purchased for $2K and it had a new frige in it that alone cost over $1500. The stove worked oven there are great deals out there that need slight fix to tune it to the way you want. This is a nice project but I bet it cost quite a bit to build it. I like it looks great.
@cdltpx It's about the satisfaction you get from saying you did it yourself not the cost. We had as much fun building ours as we do using it and it gets more attention when I go somewhere than custom motor coaches oh and about the cost I built mine for just over 700 dollars.
Well done buddy, I'm thinking on building one, maybe wont turn out as posh as yours though! lol. Dont see much of these in the UK, dont know why. Great posting, gave me lots of idea's Thanks a lot.
Did you put any insulation in the walsl? In the video it looks like you didn't, did the plan that you bought specify to use insulation?
Thanks, great video! :)

@bentstraight $700 For a new personalized camper is not bad at all. They do look sweet too. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Hi;
I have this same chassis. Do you mind if I ask what you are using for the side walls there? Is it just plywood? I'd appreciate it.
Looks very nice. Great video too.
Thanks!

Love it, did an excellent job with the finishing on it. Worth the time and money you put into it from the looks of it.
I'm looking for ideas camping wise for my old station wagon. Either doing a bed inside or a trailer. Haven't decided yet. Wanna look around first.
