Actually, the shape you are seeing is not the swastika. The swastika is a twisted version of a symbol the Japanese use for good luck. If you read manga, you will sometimes see some characters with the symbol tattooed on them. For example, if you've ever read or watched YuYu Hakusho, you would remember a monk-like character Yusuke fought during the tournament Genkai had put together. He had one tattooed wither on his forehead or his chest. I don't remember for sure.
