  • I adore this video! ! I'm from nyc and once had a semi-love affair with a cajun boy. The music brings back some great memories. Wishing only good things for the happy couple and for all cajuns!!!

  • I enjoyed this video so much, I put it on my myspace page and facebook! This is such a delightful change from those stupidly expensive weddings. People need to go back to simpler times. Extravagant, show off putting on the ritz ceremonies are so out of control. People put themselves in debt just to try to keep up with the Joneses! More simplicity is what we all need! Bravo!

  • Thanks JoAnn!! I appreciate your time to comment & add my video to your mySpace & Facebook pages!

  • I'm from Louisiana and I love this video, too! This is so much better than the cookie cutter weddings that most people have. You can tell that the people at this wedding really had a lot of fun. The bride and groom made it an enjoyable experience for everyone instead of using it as an opportunity to try and show off and spend as much money as possible.

  • Thanks!! That's very kind of you!

  • baw i swear you dont see nothin like this but in south louisiana hah i'm from lake charles and love every minute of it..couillon creole til death baw! lol

  • this makes me proud to be a cajun

  • cajuns rule louisiana forever

  • The song that starts at 1:54 is great! I have an Uncle Bud. Haha

I want a wedding like that, it's cheaper and cooler.

That's how wedding's use to be in the old days, they would put beer and drinks in Pirogue's. Pretty cool.

  • Laisser le bon rouleau de temps!

  • Let the good times roll!

  • Man, how original! The bride is one heck of a good sport for dressing in camo on her wedding.

    (You misspelled altar)

  • This is my neighbor from when I was a kid. His name is Rick Arabie.

  • WONDERFUL! I'm impressed.

    Hooray for South LA.

  • Would you happen to know who sings this song?

  • Horace Trahan from Carencro, Louisiana!

  • I have to say that this was what a wedding truely should be like! Good friends food and lots fun! Thanks yall for allowing me to officiate the ceremony!

  • Neat video, the music is a hoot, best wishes to Cajunbride and her husband. It takes a Cajun to appreciate this. You don't have to be Cajun to appreciate and know that some of the best food-and seafood-in the world is located and served in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. If you're not from here but have eaten the food-I don't mean the "Cajun" served in N.Y. and elsewhere, you know what I mean.

  • I couldn't agree more. I'm from Lafourche. And now live in OKC. They have no idea what true cajun is. I'm trying to educate my girlfriend. It's hilarious.

  • My husband saw this in the LA Sportsman and was surprised to see someone he used to know, lol!

  • I love your wedding!!!! Best wishes!!!! I love this music too . . . Your pictures are really fun

  • We had no idea it would be this big!!! We thought it would be a day long forgoten!!! If you like this video you should chech out Louisiana Sportsmen January issue page 27
