DEPlan didn't deserve that slot. It should have been a double bill Ministry show or something. Not mathcore metal, even though they are good they are not worthy of NIN. I love the video but see that pisses me off...no I was already pissed. That wouldn't do it anyway. I just find it a bad move. They don't need new fans..New FANS need THEM.

What's your beef with Dillinger? Trent thinks that they are one of the best new bands out there right now. I'm a huge Dillinger fan, their live shows are incomparable to anyone, Their technical prowess in their songs are matched by maybe a handful of bands.

I have no idea what pit these people are talking about. People were getting knocked down and I got decked first thing in. A couple people got pushed over the rail in front.

But whatever, this was the most amazing concert I've ever been to! I can't believe it's the last :-(

I was in the pit, it was pretty tame for a couple reasons:

1) Everyone in the pit had been in line since 8:00 am. So, mid-way through the concert, it was all anyone could do just to stand-up.

2) Trent is really relaxed with the video/camera policy, and with that being the last show....there was a lot camera action going on.

3) And yes, it was limited to 250 people.

So, the pit kinda cycled between a video pit, back to a concert pit and then back to a video pit. But everyone was tired.

Exactly, flew in the night before after being in class all day. Came in at 11pm. Westin told us we never reserved a room and had to fight with them. Checked out the Wiltern at 1am to see how the line was. Went to bed at 2am, Woke up at 4:30am and headed back to the Wiltern. Sat in line from 6:30am in the hot blaring LA sun, wrist bands were handed out at 3pm. Sat more in line until we were allowed in at 7pm. Add to that the super long awesome show. But it was all worth it to be up that close.

Not to mention the No Moshing, No Crowd Surfing (I forget the other) signs in front of the stage lol. I do not understand why it's a bad thing that most of the people in the pit aren't out to maim the people around them.

NIN fans in the US are incredibly well behaved! If that was an Australian pit, you'd be seriously injured by now! Only saw NIN twice in my life, and always from right up the back because the audience members were too violent :(

Fuck that kick drum. :) I have never seen so much musical equipment trashed in one show. Trent smashed a guitar or two, a few of his synth stands must have been very resilient as I saw him kick them to the floor. What an amazing experience.
