It's really iffy on what this car has tranny-wise. I really couldn't hear any heel-toe downshifting or clutching at all (I don't know drifting at all, so don't give me hell about engine noise). Easiest way to spot if the car is a 6MT, is if it has gold calipers. :08 seemed to have a glint of gold, as well as the 1:08 mark. Or you could just ask tlbesson7
not true... I have a 5at and it can drift just fine... With an auto its more to do with speed and keeping the revs up. You can cant shock the drivetrain like you can with a clutch so you gotta use alot more left foot braking and flicks... You can def drift an auto (do everything in this vid and more). Now an auto is def not the best thing for a drift car... But thats why I have a track car too.
You right I shouldn't have stated it like that. In some of my other videos I am actually drifting an automatic car.. What I meant to say was that it's ALOT easier with a MT...
If you look at 0:48. The only way he could pull that U-turn is with a e-brake. And the ebrake on the Auto is the pedal type that locks when you push it.
I own a G35, and your Drifting skill are mediocre. Because of the amount of power that you posses, your power slides should be more neat and accurate. I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and say that your vehicle has a Automatic Transmission... My video is coming soon....! Look OUT!
Difinitely need to have the traction control off! It still brakes slightly but nothing that can't be overcome. I'm not using the e-brake at all and I am heavy footed while clutching at the same time. Hope that helps!
I never knew that you could drift a G35. I am assuming that the 350 Z is just more popular to use, correct? Because i know that with the G35 you can add the same engine that the 350 has.
You can drift a Cavalier if you try hard enough! :).. The Z is easier to drift then a G35, but I like the ride itself in the G better then in the 350Z..
Yea, they both come with the same engine, very similar chassis too, the Zs are just a bit lighter and more nimble with the shorter wheelbase. At least the Gs are predictable when you are drifting...I havent had as much open road or balls to play with mine like that yet :P 275s are spendy!!
haha on the last part...all you need were some hot girls in that parked car...then you should have pulled up next to them and get their number. reminds me of tokyo drift. nice car 5stars
Damn dude, please tell me that at least took you 6+ months to learn how to do that shit that fucking well. Yeah bro.. you got that shit down striaght.
:)... I'v been screwing around in cars for a number of years now.. I would say that I had about a year in that car though.. I practice about 2-3 times a month.. Thanks for the compliment! I'm an actor and I do my own stunts, so that helps as well! :0
The testicular fortitude is strong in you young one, a jedi drift master you will become. In all seriousness though, sweet vid, I wish I could do that in my G, I'm getting there though, haha.
stock?? I gotta give you props lol I'm scared to do that in mine but I race in it like no other lol

Nope..... Just shut the traction control off & floored it....

@theonlyaccordfreak in some cars you have to take a fuse out like my 2005 bmw 545i it just woulnt'd let me drift with the traction control off

Definitely a 6mt my man. An auto would need about 400+Hp to keep the tires lit up enough to keep her in a controllable drift.

So are you purely powersliding (full throttle on the turns), e-braking, clutch kicking, something else, or all of the above?
I assume you turn off traction control. Does it turn off completely or does it slightly brake for you?
