Any fan of Joe Rogan who has been watching his standup routine over the years knows he didn't say the term in a negative sense. I mean, he doesn't even have to explain himself to his fans because they already know where he's coming from. We definitely know he's not homophobic. Based on that logic, every group can claim that there's a word that offends them, and before you know it we have a long list of taboo words.
