The shame of war is the indiscrimination. On the one hand guys like this one here aren't marine-killers, but the situation could turn them toward that.

Likewise, fucks like 'stunningblow' & 'gerttervill' would be quite appropriate targets for the bombs and ambushes (the gene pool would improve, for one)...but instead it's the 'fog of war'.

NO wars are suprned by divides. Unity and mutual bonds are the most natural of human insincts. You find it in FAMILES and FRIENDS. It helps for survival

NO wars are unnatural. Unity and mutual relations are natural. EX: FAMILIES and FRIENDS--help for survival. Its human instinct.Once unnatural things like money or borders divide people, they begin to get brainwashed into thinkong the others aren't human or deserve to be treated like one

They start categorizing things: white versus black, straight versus gay

When people are divided by some sort of propeganda, they start wars, which is unnatural and perverted. Unity is natural and best

I get what you are trying to say but sadly, war is very natural. The difference between the wars now and the ones that took place 100,000 years ago is that now we have much more destructive power so we can kill en masse. Forming mutual bonds is natural, but it's also natural to have in group/out group tension. Though money is a new invention, resources are not. In the past we fought over resources...now we use money to obtain resources, see the connection? Natural doesn't mean "right" of course

I'm not saying war is good or "right"...I'm simply pointing out the fact that it is natural, which is to say human beings have had conflicts with other groups of human beings for tens of thousands of years. We just have more effective means of killing now. Saying something is natural, does not imply it is okay. Rape is also quite natural, but that obviously doesn't make it right. The idea that war is some modern invention is just not true. No one is justifying it though.

I'm not sure how I can make this any clearer: Just because something is natural does not make it "right". War is bad. We both can agree on that. That does not however, mean it is not natural. Things can be both natural and bad, don't you agree?

by the way - has anyone noticed the people who want a better earth are beginning to stand up?? Look at Iran. I pray for those folks - and even in this country, as we struggle to move away from the status quo, the right are reacting violently. The world is in a strange mode, ripe with danger and opportunity. If we recognize the tyrants are powerless when challenged by the overwhelming masses, who knows?? Imagine.

I get your point, but the 2 million that are rising up in Iran are 2 million out of 80 million.

I agree that there is a shift of some sort going on and it is a start and eventually it may well be 50 million rising up. This goes for America, too. When we end the bs of an oncoming socialism (or another lame excuse) or a president who doesn't belong to the same "party", or is of a different color, etc, as reason for our "rising up" (in Iran) here in the US, perhaps we will see some real change.
