This make me remember when Power Rangers was first aired in my country, we had some interesting commercials for it then, that is somewhat similar in style. Only for the original Megazord and other figures though...
hello..i saw one of your post about daizyujin and fortunately you dont have to go to japan to buy a Dx Daizyujin itself because i'm selling my extra one.i have an extra dx 1993 Daizyujin wid box for $450 plus shipping.that's more less expensive compare for your total cashout when you got to japan (approx $2500-$6000 airfare, hotel and lodging etc..) for more infor you can email me at shin_getter_pilot02@yahoo.com.

Kind of odd and funny how my aunt bought this version instead of the American version that I wanted as a kid. I truly loved it, but today, I regretted for giving it away. Need to save up to go to Japan and find one.
What exactly is the difference between the Daizyujin toy and PR Megazord toy? I know the stickers and the sword are different then the Sentai version but is that all? I can just buy the US version of the Megazord and place the Sentai stickers right?
We really didn't start getting different robot toys until Operation Overdrive. Everything else before that is pretty much the same, save for the occasional minor difference.
THAT AND THEY REPLACED THE WORDS "ZYURANGER" WlTH "POWER RANGERS" THAT THEY NEVER HAD ON THE SHOW. AND WERE ALWAYS PUTTING THUNDER STICKERS ALL OVER THE ZORDS
The truth is both Japanese Sentai Mecha toys are vastly different than US Power Ranger Megazords series, it was due to US Toy Safety Act and Japs Mecha desing has its own original manifacturing standards like stickers of their series, signature emblems (from first season PR to Zeo) plastic vs chrome coating (Japs has more chrome coat than US) deeper colors, poitny weaponry and lastly weight. The only similar US/Japan toys are PROO/Boukenger and PRJF/Gekiranger in term of all designs and etc.
Wow, it would take American CM makers years to match these types of effects...if you look at toy commercials from the US from this same year, most have quite poor effects compared to sentai CMs. Sentai 4ever!
I can't lie, even if the japanese one is better, even though I'm sure they are the same, I'm glad to have an american one, just so i can say I have one. And its still in the box!!!!
I second that favor. I got MMPR DX Megazord for my ninth birthday. I tried to make custom labels to make mine look like the ones on the show. I realized that the MMPR zords were a waste of money compared to the original sentai toys.
the sad truth is that JAPANESE SENTAI toys r kickass ESPECIALLY in detail compared to SOME of our Disney(coughs operation overdrive) toys. U want the good stuff w/ no strings attached? then shop @ Ebay for good quality Sentai/(PR) toys.
Well this year Bandai of America did things right and made the deluxe Jungle Pride Megazord look like the deluxe Gekitonja from the Gekiranger toyline right down to the paint none of it missing even if the lights were added and a a small water mark so now its a good reason to get Jungle Pride Megazord if you can't import Gekitonja.
I had that toy too, and it was the disgraceful MMPR version too. Although I'm wondering for the Tyrannosaurus mecha that, what's the deal that you can attach the tail in between it's legs? O_o And what's with the small buttons at the side of its legs?
The sad thing is that I'm now missing one of the parts, and that is the Triceratops >_>
Too hot to handle!

I LOVE how they totally play up the fact that the Megazord, in Zyuranger, IS GOD. LITERALLY.

Yes it is and the MMPR sucked because of its inaccurate details.
