I used to craft over 500 iron daggers to level up my smithing, then I took an arrow in the knee (and became a town guard)

tbh even better idea, find/buy a weapon with banish daedra, break it down to learn the enchantment then smith a tonne of iron daggers and buy all the filled petty soul gems you can then enchant the daggers with banish daedra but set the charge to the smallest possible so less hits but a stronger enchantment, these daggers sell for 750 gold and the materials cost like 150 so 600 profit per dagger, I did it tonight actually 10,000 gold in 20 minutes ;)

if you dont want to smith gold neclaces you can go to left hand mine near markarth and sell the gold ores for 50 gold a piece

@xbox360pro1263 There's really no reason to NOT smith necklaces though. You get way more money, plus level smithing. If you don't care about smithing, just put the perks you get into something else yeh want.

Would be better used if NPCs didn't have so little gold. I have a chest full of crap that I just dump off whenever the NPCs run out of money.
