unlike a lot of magic fans i appreciate what vince did here for us even though the ultimate goal wasn't reached. it's a shame he couldn't have come here a couple years earlier though
@yoyoyosup1 its a shame they only gave him 1 & 1/2 seasons...atleast give the guy a full comeback year with the team...he was playing great basketball and had great percentages...Orlandos style of play is what lost them games due to Jameer Nelson despising Vinces stardom--in my opinion at least--a horrible pg.
Five in a row for Orlando and wins against the Spurs and Celtics. Addition via subtraction. Wince Harder fanboys are awesome, will you guys still follow the pussy after the Sacremento Kings waive him in 2 years and he plays in China with Steve Francis?
@RembrantQ ...did u watch the way orlando played then and the way they play now? if yes then i fail to understand ur point bcz vince was ur most consistent player --given minutes, possessions, types of possessions and shot attempts as a result of all the previous 3 factors ...its not the players u have on ur team...its how u use them...
when is vince gonna play? ibeen trying to find out when hes gonna be over his injury iwanna c him play today vs. the clippers if he does please put that video on here b/c that will be his first game w/ the suns. iknow you will anyway b/c ur the best you always post his games on here thanx! btw ifollow your page and watch all the videos all the time thanx a lot.

Orlando was terrible with Carter, he got only 29 minutes per game, didn't get the ball as much as others and also received criticism from the fans. I just hate to see that criticism just cause he doesnt dunk anymore. Look at Kobe, he barely dunks nowadays, but the fans dont say shit. Carter has fucked up legs now and hes getting old too, hes still an amazing player, and to me, a hall of famer. Watch out, the 20,000 point mark is close. :)
Blame this trade on the Orlando fans that THINK they know basketball! They along with the pessimistic SVG influenced Otis Smith to make a move to trade Vince. It was also rumored that Dwight Howard had gone to the management to ask them to pull the trigger on a move after the "poor defensive effort" during the west coast trip. Shame on Orlando for getting rid of VC! They will regret it the same way they regretted Lewis contract, Rafer Alston benching, trading Barnes, and SVG shitty offense!
I still think Dwight was the determining factor in this trade. Probably after he was blocked 5 times in the Utah Jazz game by the super athletic and defensive presence Al Jefferson.
orlando fans were very unkind to VC. He played very well 19 ppg is not that easy to come by especially when your not even the main scorer on your team. Its true what you guys say they never really seemed to like VC in Orlando....but hey he still gots some left in the tank. i think magic fans expected him to come out and play like he did back when he was traded to the nets.
@cRispYnUtZ13 Dude hell yeah I'm a Magic fan and all these Magic fans been bitchin since he got here and talking about how they miss Hedo. I mean vince has been our most consistent player this season but no one talks about that. All these good games but no one talks about that at all. I hate all these Magic fans who disliked him.
I'm kind of happy for Vince, Orlando's not going to win a championship anytime soon with the Heats, Boston, Bulls, Lakers around. Arenas and J Rich need the ball in their hands but guess what, Howard will be crying like a bitch when he doesn't get the ball enough in the post again.
screw stan van gundy ... "trying to keep him fresh for the playoffs" what kind of bullshit is that... no wonder vc will look out of sorts come play off time .... 13 possession touches per game, 37% coming off pick and rolls, only 26 isolation plays in 20 fuckin games... no wonder you will suppress a superstar...
This is very overwhelming news. I thought and hoped that Vince would end his career in Orlando , but I realize that they wouldn't have had a realistic chance against the big power houses. On one hand I'm sad, because I know that this isn't what Vince wanted, but on the other, this is a great team to come to. Vince will have a bigger role on the team and of cource have the luxury of having Nash on his side. Steve Nash, Grant Hill happen to be my 2 favorite players behind VC :)
i was depressed and furious wen the trades were going down...but after cooling down I'm honestly a little eager and excited to see the change! and with NASH! and an actual offense. better fit for VC imo..never really got the chance in Orlando..but never really proved enough.
will miss the Magic, im sure VC is upset losing his hometown team...but for real he's gonna be alongside Steve Nash..championship may be gone..but a less stressfull end to his career.
As indicative of this page and most Carter highlight channels, I will not miss Vince Carter's fans. They are (for the most part) incredibly irrational and typically misinformed. I will miss Vince as both a player and a person. Though he wasn't able to deliver for Orlando during the 2010 playoffs, he's a consummate professional and a great teammate.
Good luck in Phoenix, Vince! Your 48 point performance against the Hornets is one of my favorite all time Magic moments, as I still have it DVR'd.
@vincentlcarter ha yeah...except Vince was in his prime for some seasons with Kidd. Now he's 34? lets not overhype this. Im soo excited to see Vince with Nash tho. My favorite sports figure of all time VC with my favorite PG of all time Nash.
Carter will benifit from Nash just like back in the days with Kidd on the Nets. Magics fans and Raptors fans may not appreciate Carter, but Nets fans never wanted to see him go.
@GuyanezeComedy vince will not at all benefit from nash and i think the two overrated point guards (nelson + nash) have completely ruined vince carters confidence and as a huge vc fan it really seems like hes done...im holding out hope lol...waiting for next season...as of right now i dont even have the motivation to watch a phx game... lol
@sauce556 Yea i was a fool. Nash aint do shit his first 7 seasons in the NBA, so there no surprise he cant do shit unless its a run and gun offense. Every team is forcing Carter to just be a shooter instead of a scorer, and thats not his game at all. I honestly hopes he goes to a contender next year with a more complete team.
@IOYB lol thats not what i meant to say--steve nash is a great point guard--just not fit for vince--i will insist that jameer nelson on the other hand SUCKS ASS as a pg
@Marakulous43 Well after having a goodnite sleep I've come to my senses now. I can see why Shaq left this useless team, but at least, AT LEAST that RaTARD LewRICH is LewGONE!!!
@mingyang Not sure whose fault it was but the fans never seemed to accept VC .. they were always super critical and so eager to pounce on every mistake he made. When he was averaging 19ppg in the 2010 season, they were complaining he was shooting too much and being too aggressive. Then he shoots less and shoots 47% from the field and now he's not being aggressive enough ... what do they want?
VC was not a good fit in his hometown. I am very excited for a change of scenery.
@vc15encyclopedia Yea, I think they basically panicked and started the blame game after they lost the series to Boston. Carter didn't do well in that series, but neither did anyone else on that team, but since the fans believed they were going to the finals for sure, Carter ended up being a scapegoat for every failure for that team really.

@vc15encyclopedia blaming it on the fans ain't fair at all. everyone expected the nets caarter or the toronto carter, not the "january" vince they got. plus vince always got the excited saying "i'm saving myself for playoffs" and shit and once playoffs arrived he chocked badly. i'm blaming vince for all the hate he recived, and he deserves it too. he had a true chance of winning a chip and he blew it. goodlake makeing it to the hall of fame now
@lujavana I am not blaming it all on the fans ... im just pointing out how negative they were. did you watch him last year, besides january, vc was very good and very consistent. did you watch the playoffs? people act like every game he went 0/18 ... he had some really nice games and came up clutch in a lot of them. of course he choked in game 2 and game 4 vs celtics. thats what orlando fans will remember him by unfortunately. he will make it into the HOF though ... 2000 gold medal means a lot.
@vc15encyclopedia ur dead riight man. fans sometimes can be ass holes. i love the magic nd but im happy is outta there. hope he can resurrect his career in phoenix
@vc15encyclopedia Also ROY, 8xall star, plus arguably the best slam dunk performance of all time, he is a hall of famer even if he doesn't win a ring. And he has good chance winning title with Mavs this year.
@vc15encyclopedia If the Magic were super critical, read some Suns fan attacks now... and playing garbage minutes with Siler and Dowdell on the floor.
