The English dialogue doesn't change the meaning of what is being said. Even Japanese commercials with English dialogues, for example, carry it's cultural meanings behind it :)

The original villain in Sleeping Beauty is named Caraboss. But I think that Maleficent is better, because she is my favourite disney villain and I do love her. Well, this sleeping beauty is only for children under the age of 5, but Disney sleeping beauty and generally disney movies are for the whole family, because of their excellent quality.

Honestly, your labelling of Maleficent to begin with was ultimately reffering to the Disney version which I beleive was the only version to ever name the villain Maleficent. You could've just mention "this witch" to avoid any confusion there since the original grimm version never really had a proper name for the fairies other than lilac fairy and the evil fairy.
