I wouldn't even try to compare her voice to anything else. She sounds unique, and that's what I love about this band. Listen and enjoy it for what it is.

no she isn't better...she is simply different, and her style would ruin this type of music...to be honest I feel she is an over hyped diva and not really that great of a singer...she was constantly drowned out in nightwish by marcos superior power and didnt' really fit...dont' get me wrong she is a techiquely fantastic singer...and great in her own right. but she isn't the demi goddess that her fans have made her out to be, there is many other great singers out there better than her imo.
