Some unknown ( unpopular ) facts :

The drums were recorded by Allan Schwartzberg cause Eric Carr didn't had " the right feeling". That's what producer Bob Ezrin said, same with Odyseey, which Schwartzberg recorded also. Later Schwartzberg played drums on Asylum and also did overdubs on Animalize. Simmons/Stanley knew Schwartzberg since 1972...

But I read for the first time know that Anton Fig played on "The Oath".

There are also rumours that Kevin Valentine played drums on Hot in the shade.

This is classic KISS. Their songs don't have a whole lot of variety (depending on the songwriter). This could have been on Destroyer and no one would have known any different. Some good Kiss songs on The Elder. Much better effort than Dynasty and Unmasked. Unmasked is just the worst. It's so bad people don't even bother talking about it. This is from the TV show Fridays and is better quality than what KISS had on Kissology! The quality is so clear that you can see Ace grimacing the entire time. Ace was there, this isn't an imposter. This is the only live performance ever of this song, The Oath, and A World Without Heroes. Every other TV performance is a lipsync to the record. Eric Carr is really kicking ass here.
