@imationism ... sorry... just correcting myself, in earlier post I DID say that the practice of worship of anything is the proof of the natural instinct to worship and by extension that of God. What I meant in my last post by denying having said that is that them worship anything does not by itself prove God but there are other things it provse which then by extension prove the existence of God. I hope I didn't confuse you :S

It is unwise to ask the world of humans questions like that... questions like why this happened and why such and such thing happend... truth is... we are all running free on this space floating globe we call earth... @Ruhamituh all religions and beliefs were created by humans as answers to questions they didn't know. Religions and beliefs no matter what they are are created, maintained and proliferated by humans, so I'm not sure how you can feel a reformation of them would be a solution.

I think you hit a valid point at the end of your other post that you can only save yourself and free you're own mind and its all about what comforts you or soothes your own soul.

@imationism That is your opinion and I respect your opinion that religion is just the creation of the imagination of the brilliant human mind. However, have you ever wondered why in different unrelated parts of the world people came up with the idea of a God? I am not saying them coming up with this idea is the proof of God, but it is the proof of the nature in man to have a God. Its in the nature of man to worship a God and that is the proof of God and that these religions are from God.

@imationism Worship? Well, admiring and other forms of special appreciation are also worship. You need a special personality or thing to be dedicated to, this is the pursuit of all human beings in the world, whatever form it manifests in is a different story. For i.e. people "worship" their careers, their "fame", their "money", their "idolds", etc.

@imationism Now, why do these religions differ so much if they are from the same God? Well, that is what the human mind is responsible of... I hope you've heard of the "telephone game" where a few individuals sit in a circle and one initiates a message which goes around the circle and back to him/her, when they find it totally changed. Why? because we humans like to put our interpretation of things on everything. So, over the course of history, these religions have seen a lot of alteration.

There was, however, another phase to the establishment of Islam, that is, the complete establishment.

@Ruhamituh its the nature of man to want an answer to their questions, either fact or fiction. It's not in their nature to want a god. You only mention the belief in one 'God' but what about those that believe in many or perhaps believe in the power of their ancestry and spirits? Or perhaps praise and worship of the earth itself which is much more a consistent unchanging script than any human words. It's all a matter of interpretation which is where the divide truly comes in regardless of faith.

I didn't say that them worshiping is the proof of God because they are worshiping God; that would be false of me to say because as you said too people worship many different things in the world of religion - I meant it is the proof of that natural instinct because they are worshiping anything and everything they find or have the most respect for.
