  • Hmm i am hungry now. BTW thx for the message

  • If i were you i'd cook it french way, it'd be better if you let the meat marinate in the soy sauce with fresh garlic for about three hours, then cook the steak in a pan with sesame oil for five minute and then slice it into square shaped pieces. If there's one thing i learned in france, never cook meat on a high temperature.

  • @benfaysal23 But thanks for sharing your video though. :)

  • I wouldn't salt the meet before searing ist, so the meet stays more "juicy". I'm sorry for my bad english, i'm german.

  • @MrRegio225 It's ok,English is an illogical,stupid,difficult language.I'm amazed it's so widespread.

  • @exeuroweenie

I don't think so, why is english a hard language? Bat that's offtopic.

  • YOU CAN USE SAKE AND SOY SAUCE 1:1 AND REDUCE IT TO MAKE IT A LITTTLE BIT MILDER TASTING TOO,

  • Thanks for sending me this video, I like simple recipes like this, so I've subscribed!

  • I am definately making this at home! I can almost taste it just from watching

  • Just a tip , Try commentating while recording? Or post commentating? It'd make the video that much more interesting, to hear the person who is on camera. Just a tip tho. Btw, why'd u share this video with me? I do let's plays lol, video game walkthroughs with commentary :P

  • This is not fair! I'm at work watching this and droolin' . Damnnn it :/

  • hungryyy

  • add some flour to make sauce thick..

  • @tybireus Please don't do it. This sauce is very salty and should be kept thin and runny. Flour will change the flavor too.

  • This look yummy!

I subbed, thank you and Happy New Year!

  • Thanks for the video its great and looks easy.

  • Thanks for sharing the vid! The way you made the sauce is similar to what I did only that I add a little oyster sauce to have it more richer taste. :D And the meat looks SO YUMMY. Wish that i have money to buy meat like that.... (;_;)

  • Thanks for mailing this video. I've always been a great fan of Japanese food & the instructions are clear and simple to follow. I'll be hoping to make this for dinner sometime ! Oh GOD watching this makes my stomach feel emptier and hungry by the seconds TT''

  • What kinda soy sauce should I use?

  • @ydr3X Kikkoman!

  • That music was to annoying to listen to. Thanks for sharing it w/ me but if I'm going to like favorite or Sub you've got to change that stupid music.

  • @wolvee123 Whatever music you use, somebody will always not like it. You can play your own music or just mute it. There's no other sound than music on the video.

  • @ezjapanesecooking I completely agree but some music is just over the top annoying. This qualifies because it's just the same thing, over and over and over again.

  • @wolvee123 This is a royalty free music I bought for $10. Longer song is much more expensive.

  • @ezjapanesecooking There are tons of royalty free music sites that only require you to give credit to the creator.

  • PS: Is there a kitchen anywhere in the developed world without a pair of those tongs? We live in England and have two pairs.

  • @WilliamGruff Tong is great for searing thick meat!

  • @ezjapanesecooking: Yes, and for removing roast potatoes from hot beef dripping. Ours are amongst the most used tools in the kitchen.

  • Thank you for the link. I like the video and I've subscribed.

  • @WilliamGruff Thank you too!

Thanks for the share ka, Kun Ezjapanesecooking:)),

  • @RuanKaew2 Thank you!!

  • I think it's not healthy at all =\

  • @KOPHEB It is healthy. Healthy eating is all about balanced meal. With this meat, make sure you eat vegetables. You can rarely call one specific food as not healthy. Beef has a lot of nutrition.

  • You should make sukiyaki sometime, I'm interested in that particular dish :O

  • @sorox1234 I never made sukiyaki. I

  • @ezjapanesecooking I've been cooking for nearly 30 years and for some reason I can't get the hang of any Asian food. I noticed you salted the beef and then deglazed and reduced the soy sauce. It looks very good but does it make for a very salty beef dish? Also, The whole world cooks and eats steak (well most of the world anyway) I like seeing how. What do you typically serve on the side of this? Thanks!

  • @Quillons1 We eat steak or any meat/fish with white rice. So, it may be a little bit salty depending on how much sauce you keep on the meat. However, salt I used didn't make it salty at all. Steak is very thick. I used Hawaiian red salt for my steak. I would love to have spinach and fried tofu miso soup along with steak and white rice. I would add some sliced boiled/steamed carrots for extra veggie nutrition as well.

  • Thanks fr sending me your video.. Yes I love Japanese food ;) it looks easy. Will check your other video now.

  • Easy and nice. Congrats.

  • *mouthwatering*

  • I want some of that.

  • DId you also Have a Bake Potatoe with Butter & sour cream with that Steak

  • @livingxfashion Thanks!

  • WOW that does look simple! Anyways... for the sauce, you used just soy sauce and garlic and pepper, so...wouldn't the sauce be a bit strong since it's just soy sauce more or less? or does it loose some of the saltiness when you boil it for a while?

  • @TaLLLudWiG718 Thick sauce with thick and juicy steak, that's the concept and it goes really well rather than thinning the sauce.

  • OMG! Thanks for sending me the link! I really like Japanese Food! Somehow all about Japan! Japan stuff! Hope can go there some there XD and this recipe is somewhat looks easy! I will make sure to try them [^_^]

  • Can I use less oil if I wanted, or would the beef not sear the same way?

  • @uknouluvmoemoe If you use non-stick pan, you can use less oil. It's really up to you. Just want to prevent beef from sticking to the pan.

  • heyy/! thanks for sending me this video,, subscribed! ;)
