I know what ya'll are talking about. I'm a Dukes of Hazzard fan and it makes my skin cringe to see one wasted like that. Even If the interior is gutted out, it's still a running ' 69 Dodge Charger to what?, show off in front of a crowd for a few seconds and then back to the junk yard it goes? Sure.....I've been to 2 Dukesfests and saw a General go airborne, but for a few seconds of a thrill and then it's junk?, that sucks!

This subject has been beaten to death so many times. Most of the diehard "Dukes" would rather see the live-show jumps stop too. But there are show promoters making BIG money off these deals from huge local crowds whenever they stage one.

That car in the clip was crap. (So are almost all of the GL jumpers.) The crew builds those cars with GALLONS of bondo, pop rivets, zip ties, aluminum foil tape, spray paint . . . Even the engine gets re-used half the time.
