Or through careful study of all the religions, as well as science, before deciding on Christianity? By all means prove me wrong, but I somehow doubt it was the latter. for the record, I made the concsious decision to be confirmed in the C of E when I was 14, and I was happy with that for the next few years, so I'm hardly one to criticize!

@fuzzysocks18 I disagree. I beleived in God most my life, until a couple of years ago, when I became an athiest, and THAT was the best decision I made. By all means, believe what you want, my original point was about teaching young children about religion as though it's true, and when they get older, they challenge anyone (such as a teacher) who has an opposing view, and who can blame them, if the religious viewpoint is all they've ever known?
