  • welcome to the traphouse!

  • Can you be my personal tutor!!!!

  • I wanna add you on Facebook.com. Plese send me a message back ill start posting vids of my trapline here in ALASKA in the interrior. And in 15. i was raised and born in a remote vilage and my late uncle alber taught me everthing i need to know in the wods.

  • @TheWildNorth why would you kill such beautiful animals? they do nothing to you so why kill so many?

  • Whats the big black animal at 2:08? Wolf? Too big for a Fisher!

  • To all the people saying bad stuff about "animal killer" keep your civilized sensitivity in your city and eat your steak. No animals were arm.

  • tht is just disgusting...

  • @PurpleOxGaming how? where are you from might i ask?

  • @PurpleOxGaming Then don't watch it...

  • I wish to all of you animal killers, that one day you will end killed by whom you are killing..!

  • @dendro1717 I wish one day you will learn proper English but till that day, go die you hippy faggot.

  • @dendro1717 you know the salad you ate killed thousands of mice? everything we do kills animals.

  • brain-tan some of those furs and make some winter clothing :)

  • Thank you for saving all of the cute bunnies, sweet little mice and glorious grouse from those vicious blood thirsty wolverines, fishers, lynx and wolves. They will sleep a lot safer tonight.

North America was settled by such men.

If you are looking for good reading, "My Life is Trapping" by John Tetso is a great historical narrative and show the true heart of a trapper. worth the read

  • whats your trapper gun? 22 mag, 22 lr, 22-250?

  • Looks like beautifull conuntry, do you spend a lot of time alone trapping or just certian times of the year? Also, I 'm wondering if you are in Canada or Alaska? I"m assuming you are not in the lower 48 of the USA.

  • That there is no illiterate sport to study, I feel like my hand into that trap Foce and rogue and coward boasts of taking a picture, the whole world is seeing their cowardice, shitty country has evolved to Brazil we will play hunter of truth, will be home against man weapon against gun if you want to go, the animals will thank me. In Brazil the wolves is symbolic of dogs represents wisdom, teamwork.

  • Why you kill this beautifull animals? Isn't this illegal? Hope all of you sick trappers and hunters will be trapped ourselfs one day in The Wild North. And while you are trapped and scared and alone, comes a bear or wolf and eats you.

  • @knoerzi03 ha!!! no, hunting and trapping are our rights as americans, definately not illegal. and by the way, trappers and hunters have been saving animal species from extinction, believe it or not. your welcome.

  • @TheOutdoorsman07 please enlighten me on your logic there when its a well known fact that trapping nearly brought the beaver to extinction...

  • @shoottakill1 yup, back when people trapped freely all year. now, there are these things called trapping seasons. also, hunters and trappers contribute lots of money to maintain animals habitats.

  • @TheOutdoorsman07 that doesnt answer how you think trapping animals and hunting them has been saving them from extinction....you mean to say that laws prohibiting trapers from trapping all year round has been saving animals from extinction....because obviously when white men came here they had no idea how to sustainably harvest hides from the land without decimating the population of those animals they hunted or trapped...white man ways are not and will neverbe sustainable as long as .....

  • @shoottakill1 yes. but also, there was some kind of cross breed deer, i forget what it was, but it was going extinct, and a hunter restored there population. saying that we want to kill off animals, would be wrong. current day hunters/trappers also protect many animals along with taking some.

  • @TheOutdoorsman07 i didnt say u want to kill off animals....buuuuuuut, if you wanna go there ok....there were government grants to pay people and supply them with weapons and ammo just to go out on the train and shoot buffalo from out of the windows and leave them to rot on the prairie. the reason i bet you can guess but ill tell. To exterminate the natives food supply1, and 2 they were the only thing that could stop a train dead in their tracks,,, so yes they did "want to" as you put it...

  • Respond to this video... if our forefathers were smart we would be eating buffalo not cows

  • @shoottakill1 im nog gonna argue with that, thats true.

  • @shoottakill1 no if cows were smarter we would be eatin buffalo but think about it. the only tool you have is a rock so you go out to hunt and you run up on a cow and buffalo and as you charge them the buffalo takes off and the dumbass cow sits there then you beat him with your rock and enjoy living. would you really have chased the buffalo.

  • @TheOutdoorsman07 western ideology and ways of living remain the way they are, my native relatives lived for thousands of years without once doing what only took you 1 generation: destroying diverse ecological systems and bringing dozens of species to complete or the brink of extinction,,,,,whats up with that shit....western ways are like cancer...just look at the earth, every city is just like a tumor , quickly growing and slowly killing it .....sorry to spill my shit on you

  • Nice video. I have 2 questions.

#1, What do you carry for a rifle??

#2, How do you tan a hide and keep the fur??

  • asesino!!!

  • I wonder if once he dies and goes to the afterlife that all the animals he had taken away from their families, packs, nature, home, ect ect will get to pass judgement on if he goes to heaven or hell......

  • @xSceneKidRavenx animals don't have families, i'll gaurantee you live in some big city and have only seen animals in the zoo where they are somewhat tame and you probably get your inspiriation from those videos 13 year old girls post on youtube title "save the poor wolves"

  • @foundmyrosebudfan Animals dont have families? Then how were they born retard? 0:30 thats nice its funny that you like that. how could anyone be capable of thinking thats acceptable? Anyone who thinks that is ok does not have the capability to love anything. all they love is their "sport" called hunting. 1:58 Whoever could do that to something should not be in a community they should be locked up.

  • @xSceneKidRavenx ... right on

  • @xSceneKidRavenx probably not

  • this is the life for sure, afterall hard work is good for you and what a place to live. ..-Keith

  • disgusting

  • do u kill wolves if plizz dont

  • @wolfquest999

there are to damn many wolves out there. They NEED to be thinned.

  • My great uncle was a trapper and trapped till he was 78 and lived to be 103 and I just want to say thank you to you and the rest of the trappers for keeping trapping alive today. There lots of history there. Be safe all of you

  • @Shanon576 one less trapper (Y)

  • AWESOME..... keep it up bro ,not too many of us left.

  • quite a bit of wolverine there my friend....are there tons where you are from?

  • Great season! You seem to get a lot of Lynx and Wolverine. Fair size beaver @ 0:39. This year our quota for beaver was 120, we get fischer and martin; but not nearly the predators you get. Depending how I skin a coyote I get paid for a Wolf.

  • GREAT video. Thanks for sharing!! =)

  • disgusting

  • this reminds me of Jerimiah Johnson so much

  • wow man wish i could do that

  • @zeffnation He doesn't do it for sport inbred, you must be very ignorant of the people in the north. As well to industries available to those who live here. If your not completely demented focus your good intention to other voices that need to be heard, save the children in this world. Those same animals would not think twice about eating you alive starting from your end trails circle of life kinda deal and the human race is losing some respect.

  • Whats your favorite set for wolverine? Im in alaska for this winter and I want a pelt before I leave. I got the itch real bad

  • @snoboy521 i would say the 330 coni for wholverine but there tricky to catch them in one.if you have no experience use a leghold but make sure you check leghold everyday it wont hold a wholverine for long and dont piss urself wen its in a leghold alive he will be jumping at you.

  • @snoboy521 - I agree with everything he says. I use to use #4 leg holds for Wolverines, and you do need to check them everyday. Make sure you use good strong wire to tie your trap on with too. I had wolverines chew through a 4 inch living spruce trying to get free. They're an extra mean fucker when they're. Good luck

  • You've got the life,it's cool to know people like you are still living the dream!

  • That is one big wolverine, that hide is big as a wolf!

  • Comment removed

  • what do you use baiting the lynx?

  • @TheWildNorth nice vid, whats that guy doin between 1:34 and 1:38???

  • have you a homepage or so really great trapping :D

  • Good video, as usual.....

  • Hey wildnorth. All your vids are awesome. I've watched everyone of them several times. Your living the dream man. Keep them coming. By any chance are you from F.N.?

  • after you skin the animal and trim the fat how do you prepare the fur. I lay it out and put salt on the skin side, however then the skin becomes tough how do you get it soft.

    Thanks

    Paul

  • @doeringpp it has to get tanned to soften up

  • @doeringpp my friends dad puts salt on first then he puts borax on...

  • @doeringpp Thats exactly how i do it

  • what was the animal at 1:09 ?

  • @12fergers that was a fischer

  • Nice work guy's

  • nice good job

  • funny pic at 0:31 are you up in Alaska?

  • @MrChuckarhunter12 nope im canadian

  • what are ya gonna do with that jug of claws?...

  • @FukuAzole i dunno give em to a indian that does art work or something maybe make a necklace. why u want em?

  • Those wolverine's look like mean motherfucker's. Beautiful fur on those fuckers though. It's a shit load of hard, hard work. But it seem's to pay off. I'm sure you have shitty season's. But from what I see your a pro. I'll bet it run's in the blood? Someone in your family must have shown you at a young age? Just guessing. That's what it looks like. If I could of learned at a young age. I would of loved to be a trapper. Hell ya. Great Vid.s keep up the good work. Back room done yet? LOL

  • I loved the still vid! Waiting for an invite!

  • Couple more months and the season starts down here..Oct 24th for most of the stuff down here

  • @sportbikeandhunter oct 15th for beaver and mink and otter and then nov 15th for lynx and wolverine and martin and so on.

    peace

  • coolness.

  • Awesome. Is this enough to home / town though, so you can get some sookie sookie during these months? I don't know if I could handle being away from poontang for that long...

  • @Scrap5000 i usually come to town 1 a week not oo far from my hometown 2 hour vehicle drive

  • @TheWildNorth You're living my dream, man!!!
