How do the Danes think of foreigners? I'm American but my husband is in the United States Airforce and the possibility of getting stationed overseas has come up. My great grandparents hailed from Denmark, I can trace my heritage there to the 1500's so I'd love to visit my mother country.

My great granddad ran away from home at age 14 and worked his way to America on a merchant ship,not that anyone cares but we ended up in Alaska which I am very thankful for as it's beautiful here when the skeeters aren't out anyways.Beautiful Denmark I want to see you before I die.

It upset me to see Danes Disrespecting their own country in some other video's I watched. We are going through hard times in Europe at the moment, now is not the time to take a weak heart. We must never allow politics to corrupt our love for our lands. Danes have more right to be proud than most. Throughout history Danmark has shown the world a true fighting spirit to be envied, a fighting spirit that you may be calling upon in the not so distant future.

@Maryjoends: Whether the borders are open or not, you have to bring your passport when entering another country unless it's a Schengen-country - Swedes, Norwegian, Danish.... can enter each others countries without a passport. You're not allowed tot go forth and back between Denmark and Germany without bringing your passport, open borders or not.

I love the queen, she's not beautiful :b Denmark has it's beauties, but they're quite hidden, even so I must confess with our mane people and little land theres not much room for a fantastic nature, so Sweden and Norway, Iceland and Faroese Islands win by miles in natural beauty, however, we Danes are much more than what we have in nature, don't ever doubt that.
