@fishqueen25 it used to be. it was torn down 10 years ago. it was really far in the back too. it was right to the back left of the festhaus. the black forest picnic grove was there up until this year when the new coaster Verbolten will open
I wonder why they tore this ride down, it was incredibly unique when looking at Arrow's roller coasters. I'm sure one reason was, even though I never rode it, that it gave you a horrible headache because your head shakes around banging into the shoulder restraints like all of Arrow's coasters do. What's funny is they actually put this roller coaster on the market before they tore it down but never found a buyer so they demolished it. If I had the $ for my own coaster, I'd go with B&M, not Arrow.
@dreybert5789 - they wanted B&M but they were not available to install it that year because they were putting in a coaster down in tampa. they should have waited a year.
I remember this roller coaster, and I remember the pain in the neck it gave me because it jerked my head from side to side so hard, but my daughter and younger cousins really liked it. I really liked the BB Wolf and was so sad to see it go!

@woodcoasterdude Arrow has a bad rap for being so painful. B&M are the 'goody two shoes' of the coaster industry. While B&M has a comfortable ride, Arrow build my favorite type of coaster.
@arrowguy173 i didnt get a chance to ride Drachen =(. but ive been on all the others that you mentioned plus Demon (Six flags Great America) Corkscrew (cedar point) and i went on an arrow shuttle loop before but i cant remember where
@woodcoasterdude I wish B&M would design a corkscrew off the lift into a diving drop like that...That was one of the most unique starts I've seen. That looked so cool
@Matt93Dixon The people who rode Drachen Fire before it closed have resurfaced on coaster forums and apparently never were really too excited about it, and most said it was just another ride.
such a shame it's gone :P

This one looks like it was one great ride. The arrow coasters I miss the most were Orient Express in Kansas City and Shockwave in Chicago.

@FortisBong No the Batwing is B&M's name for Arrow's Boomerang.

who votes that if B&M (Busch Gardens' first choice to make the ride) made it it would still be there today?

@Olmec1995 thats my point. i like classic arrow megaloopers like the Vortex better than B&Ms too

@woodcoasterdude Vortex, Tennessee Tornado, Shockwave, Viper......just a great lineup. Glad I got on Drachen too.

@woodcoasterdude - it would. They should out the same layout and put a retro style B&M back in there. A floorless would be perfect.

@woodcoasterdude Yes, and since it was before 1996 when B&M gave up, it would've been forceful and entertaining.

It dosent have a batwing, its called a cobra roll. A batwing is different.

@TheThundercoaster I've noticed that almost ALL TV shows I've seen on roller coasters use incorrect terminology.

Drachen fire was an amazing ride. I rode it a dozen times in 1992. It should have been dismantled. One of the best coasters EVER.

This is the type of ride they need to replace the big bad wolf
