If Marvel is marketing this to women.(it obviously is) Then its just condescending. If marvel really wants to get the female readers interest in a book, how bout they try getting good writers to write good stories, get female writers who can make captivating stories involving strong women characters not making a whole line of comics with gimmicks about the fashion industry! this is a comic book not Next top Model! SERIOUSLY! this is what they canceled Captain Briton and Iron Fist for?!

REALLY?! what type of people do you think are into fashion? I guarantee you that the majority of that demographic is women and gay men. I'm not stereotyping at all. thats just the reality of it. Marvel has been trying to do things like this to get women into comics for years and still they are unsuccessful. wanna know why? because of shit like this. There are ways to go about this rather then marvel "style". Just write good stories and you will get all kinds of readers, male or female.

Besides, now more then ever girls are getting into comic books, especially girls who like anime and video games. @_@ So, while this IS an attempt to appeal to the female audience, it isn't something they have big plans for. It's just a well known tv personality that was a Marvel fan and willing to get involved somehow. It appeals to me anyway. :) So, it works.
