The scene where the guy asks Klaatu all those questions is priceless. I like the way Klaatu asked him what size his suit is!! LOL!! Reminds me of an "Indiana Jones" stunt! It was really funny!

Humanity: Humans are destructive to the world we live in, they can and will not change unless the world is under attack, or about to end. Honestly, I believe that if we had an attack of aliens from outside our world and they destroyed humanity, it would be good for earth because it would lose it's pollution, it's problems. Or if we had a virus that killed off half of the worlds population the only reason we should be able to live would be at a high cost. We would have Loose all our resources

I think the ONLY TWO things that I didn't really like about this movie was the part when Klaatu was speaking Chinese, and the big alien guy could've gotten a better make-over

Other than that, this film is really good.

Epic & intensely thought provoking Sci-fi movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" - has brilliant scenes in it & film Starring Actor Keanu Reeves & Cast members Jennifer Connerly etc.,. were excellent in it. That big Alien in it just blew me away...'awesome effects!
