Well, from what i can tell Mario actually has a very subtle continuation. As we all know lava does not kill Bowser completely. In super Mario 3 the Koopa Kids or what ever you want to call them were defeated but ran away. Bowser just fell down a hole. In super Mario world the Koopa Kids were actually killed and Bowser ran away in his clown machine. In Mario 64 he was just smacked down by bombs but not killed. I never played sunshine but I think that was the 1st one that introduced Bowser Jr.

According to the Super Mario Wiki, you are correct. Super Mario Sunshine was the first game to use Bowser Jr.

You can't be more wrong. Yoshi's Island 2 was released in 1995, and has Bowser Jr. in it. As the last boss, I believe.

How can you possibly hate Bloopers and Fishin' Boos more than Spikey Parabuzzies in the Paper Mario series? They're practically invincible! They've got spikes so you can't jump on them, they fly so you can't use your hammer, their Defense is sickeningly high and they have complete immunity to fire and explosions!
