You are right, Croatia is hidden perl. Especially islands. Island of Vis and Lastovo were forbidden military zone. It wasn't allowed foreigners to came about 50 years.
This is where we stayed on the island of VIS in Croatia last summer. It was unbelievably beautiful and this clip is telling only half of the story. We enjoyed quietness on a large terrace, immediate access to the beach, incredible scenery and islands close enough for a fit swimmer to reach.
Within a distance of 5km we were able to reach beautiful beaches, steep cliffs to jump from or to freedive underneath, and a famous site called "zelena spilja" (translated: Green Cave)
