hey i wanna know what did you mix for the skin i understand that people if they use it would be at their own risks but tips like this can really help people in the future & if it is a 100% safe like you say why you cant just tell us ? please help us out whit stuff we may be able to do whit stuff we already have at home to make are pets happy & safer.

Use "bioMist" or "Tropical Mist" for the daily spray, I prefer the BioMist. Zilla makes a great bathing lotion called "Shed Ease" that you should use once a month. Great stuff! Even comes with itis own measuring cup for mixing into a bathing solution.

HAHA! Domine is well over 5ft now,he's probably quadrupled in girth since this video.He's now my longest snake and when he fully matures, when he reaches adulthood he may be one of the biggest captive bred MALE JCPs We shall see!

i feed her 3-4 days prior to her shed, like a day or two before she starts having signs of the fog eyes, usually 5 days after she'll shed right after her first signs of the fog eyes.

Try not feeding her at all about a week before her next shedding cycle, also don't feeds her during the shed cycle, if her body is still expanded from the food, it can make shedding difficult and painfull, I also reccommend daily misting with a skin lotion spray and a full lotion bath once a month. A setup with lots of shedding promotions would also be ideal. Check out the video in the response for an ideal setup for your snake. Good luck !

Let me rephrase the question.... How long after your snake eats does it shed? In other words are you feeding her the day of her shedding?.... The day before the shed?..... A week before the shed?

but when she finishes her shed her yellow is so bright it blinds my eye, with that dark rainbow reflection its beautiful, but i wanna start a collection like yours of full sheds. i got lucky once with her full shed, after that i got hundreds of pieces

Cute snake again. My carpet has a full shed like 2 weeks ago. Shes getting soo big she is around 7 ft now.I do agree about the biting.Mine was 3 months old when i got her. she only was nippy for a month maybe 2. after that she was amazing with no snapping or biting she is awesome.

carpets are supposed to be snappy the first 2-3years of their life. After that they usualy calm down without any special feeding program. Feeding live is bullshit anyway.

hey I had a question, you seem to know enough about snakes to help me out, my carpet python is still pretty small, shes about 3 feet (female) and is in a 40 gallon terrarium 3'x18"x18", (lots of decor. and bendable branches are criss crossing everywhere with fake plants wrapped around. Its small for an adult so im getting a bigger one early but right now she wont come out of her hiding rock, (its been about a week and a half what can I do?. she is comfortable with me and wont bite much anymore

montys last skin shed (6 months ago) was 8 and a half ft long.. everywhere you read says that the skin shed is longer than tha actual snake..im having problems getting him to eat rats now... but he eats chics no prob (but it takes 30 chicks to fill him up and they are €5 each, jumbo rats are only €3.50 each and 2 fills him up)

yea it is longer, mine always are.sometimes off by a around a foot if they are wet when I take them out.I hang them up and spray them down with skin lotions and water.when they dry.they are withing a few inches of the length of the snake.

I always wanted to experience The REAL Strength a snake has(To Kill)hes rediculous. when I fed him hanging from my arm in the arm kill movie,It took me 45 minutes to remove him from my arm. My fingers turned fucking blue!im dieing to get it uploaded,but fuck 45minutes!I was just so amazed of his strength, I was completely Drained.Dropped me to my knees On the Strike!I have now decided that I will not do the hanging Kneck Kill until I have atleast 2 other people with me. Cant wait...

depends on how the snake sheds,the size of the snake, species:for example A Tropical snakes shedding will stretch alot more than a desert snake.Num3 sheds completely SOAKED. His sheddings are sometimes 80 Inches.and hes only around 6ft. my babies "Pop" there shed and they are almost the exact length of the snake itself. fter all the skins dry, its a little.shorter than the snakes.thats just in my experience.I believe it depends on the snake.domines shed was around 6 inches longer than he was.

Have been watching your vidoes and you seem to know your stuff. I'm looking at getting a Jungle Carpet Python and was wondering what size Viv you keep yours in?

I have a 4ft long, 2ft high and 2ft deep viv already, is that big enough?

yea, thats fine. a viv can never be too big as long as there is enough "cover" for a baby. I always suggest starting off with the biggest tank that you can afford(As the snake especially babies grow fast), even for hatchlings, as long as there is cover for the snake, it wont get stressed. keep in mind, your JCP will probably like to hang out at the top of the Canopy, so the higher the better for a JCP. good luck with your snake bro!Cheers back atcha!!!

I currently have a True Redtail, 5.5 footer at 4 years old, his name is c0mfor7a31y_Num3 and I have ALOT of vids of him up! I also have a suriname-columbian cross(Im unsure, I think shes just a common, but shes a great snake "Maggie" 10 months old, the Python in this Video is a Jungle Carpet and hes 2. Ive had several snakes and have raised them and sold them for a GREAT profit!

Hey nice video dude. I was hoping you might be able to give me some advice. I have had my JCP for about 3 1/2 months now. I got him at about a year old and he really didn't like people. I have been trying to handle him but he doesn't seem to like being touched. He has been getting better the last few weeks but I just wanted to know how long it should take before i should be ab;e to handle him without getting bitten.
