To everyone posting Psy-Trance and Goa vids - thanks people !!!!
2 weeks ago i did not know what trance was, what psy-trance was, or what goa was!!!, and now I can't stop myself from listening to it - bamboo forest - morning light - was my 1st trance tune, i think i listened to it for about 3 days straight i.e. non-stop !!! it's like discovering music for the 1st time, I love all the bamboo forest tunes !!! and for a 1st time in years I actually bought a CD !!!!
Well, i played A LOT of goa/psy-trance in A LOT of legal/illegal parties and in my view an evil bass, a twisting 303 on a static loop and some angry, reverbered voices aren't enough to make a track psychedelic. The drop at 2:50 is pure commercial standard, I liked the early Moon Spirit relases from BF but sure i don't like this crap.
Try something like "Higher Realms" from ESP and spot the differences.
