HQ's have a small HQ logo, as you can see the logo is wide on this pad, so its a vic firth. Also you see 2 words on the pad... one short one long... dead give away.

use the other stick to do the tap thinghy... and do it on your hi-hat and use the open and close to put musical movement into the straight notes... crowd luvs that one fyi
