@allmusicsucks Jungle tends to only use amen breaks, dnb is often more melodic and more varied. Stuff between '92 to '95 is usually jungle, but Goldie's Timeless album was probably the first actual drum and bass album, though some songs are slightly jungle-ish.

I have been wondering about this myself but goldie was doing stuff before he started working with Rob Playford that had the same complex sampled breaks. It must be said though that his earlier stuff sounded like underground bedroom production compared to this slick sound so I guess its a bit of both of them. Who ever made it Timeless is an apt name because this is sounding just as fresh now as it did 15 years ago which is more than can be said for alot of electronic music of the era.
