@Gazza660 They did that because they the first Goldeneye game was a nintendo execlusive in the 90s, and Nintendo still still have the rights to it, So even if they planed on putting it on the 360 or th PS 3 they couldn't due to contracts.

i don't think they understood the last question very well. James Bond may be a fictional character, but if they want to bring him to life, they need to have a set time line. to me, this is just a video game. the movies are the real story lines and story of james bond.
