Oluchi, nice name shawty, try not to give out a lot of information about your travel plans and destinations ok. you know people back home use this as a way to trap us here in the US when we visit or harass us.
I'm also naija in fact we everything in common : Igbo, don't have a lot of lace, my house, don't really speak my language but understand when my mom is speaking it, if u wanna learn Igbo I can teach u
or in yoruba .joo ba mi safu wi pe I am waiting for him . pidgin english ( I beg help me tell am say I dey wet for am or him) good english pls tell him that I am waiting for him.) Thankz love u baby. u look gr8
mixing pidgin english with igbo is ( moses ke ebi na last night I come dey wait for u ?). Pure Pidgin english without native is( mose na where u come dey lastnight I come dey wait for u? ) Good English (where were u lastnight I was waiting for u?) .or in furthermore
. And as for me its a mixture of english , sometimes people mix it up with their own native langauge to make a complete sentence too .and can also be use without adding ur own native language in between. Its a broken down or I call it a turning the english up sides down to make a complete common sentence across nigeria and most other african countries understand it too. E.g more
lol , its called pidgin english and not pegeon o.basically, most african countries like E.g Ghana, nigeria, serialeon and cameron including many others african countries do speak it as well. talking about d pidgin english it can be use in a difference forms, depending on who u are using with and who u want them to understand u furthermore
@ncaroln7 . :p its called pidgin english .. difficult to explain . its simply uhmm..ermm .. like english broken down :p some Nigerian slangs wit english words togeda
@barcup4eva u are an asshole and your comment reflects your maturity!...what a shame u are Nigerian too!...to the lady in the video u look beautiful!...thank u for sharing and yea I think all Nigerians love suya!...it's sooo good!...my favorite soup is ogbono soup!..am delta ibo, lived in Benin and yes we and waffi people speak the best broken english
@vichel shush ho. you a benin speaking, witch invoking, 3rd world generation, hating ass cat lol now off my naija dick. I'm straight up naij all day errday!! I'm immature, but I'm fucking rich so fuck what you gotta say dawg you can't make me sad haha :P
I hate when fake ass nigerian bitches who been to the states start acting all cute. This bitch HAS her nigerian accent wtf she mean by I wish i had it now?! BITCH YOU DO dont let anyone tell you different haha. She isn't pretty, she's acting without being paid (ashawu) and I know all these things cuz i'm fucking nigerian too. Naija for life!!! this bitch and many more deserve headshots. now that would be a good video.
@barcup4eva Why you so full of hate for a fellow Nigerian, cmon dude, show some respect and stop hating her for it's not her fault she is cute, she only made the clip to express herself and for fun, I think you shouldn't just jump on people's clips and rail out insults for no jut cause, she obviously not even a full grown adult, prolly 18 or 19!
I feel you, I don't speak my language (Urhobo) and I blame my parents all the time! There are not too many Urhobo youth in NJ so that just makes it worse because I am not around people that speak my language. Crazy part is I understand it completely!
It's not your fault dear that you don't speak Igbo. Our Igbo parents don't uphold the language like their Yoruba counterparts. Since you want to learn, go to this channel: LearnIgbo. They teach Igbo from the basics.
wow i think its great your proud and so familiar with your culture, i realy wish us african americans had more cultural roots and we knew more where we came from. i love ur hair btw! =D
I went to ikoyi club a lot too. And suya...yuum. I was born in surulere but my grandpa lived in ikoyi like right across from ikoyi club so I was there a lot (: edo(Benin ) and delta speak pigin a lot. I'm urhobo (:
In some way, the pronunciation of some words still sounded nigerian...IKoyi club used to be ma favourite spot back then as well... Miss Nigeria like crazy...And yes ur insanely pretty too...
@ncaroln7 Pidgin english or broken English (Not pigeon) is like irregular english sentence sturcture that combines english words and slangs. Example: Where are you or Where you at? is (Where you dey?)
@ncaroln7 Pidgin is a Nigerian street language. It uses verbs in their infinitive form. This means there's no change to the verb whether it is past tense, future tense etc. Because of this everybody, irrespective of their educational background, can communicate in the language. Eg: with the word GO: I dey Go (I am going) I go Go (I will go) I go (I went). see how it is always go irrespective of the tense? There's a bit more to it but that's the gist of pidgin :)

@ncaroln7 Nigerian version of English or broken English. Similar to Spanglish (mixture of Spanish and English words.)
nwankpag 2 months ago
@ncaroln7 It's spelt 'Pidgin' not 'Pigeon'. It's broken English kind of like Patois (Jamaican Patwa) but a Nigerian variation.
