I think Intermediate would have been more accurate, or, Definitely not for beginners. Or even, Really F'ing hard for beginners. Is a beginner really ready to start tuning down? they're probably having enough trouble with standard tuning.
Tune in next week for the Beginner tapping lesson EVH Eruption...
hi stevie i am a beginner guitarist and love the sound you are getting from your guitar. can you tell me what your setup is? (amp, etc.) thanks -- craig
ALso allows a jumpnig off point so that you can add your own influence into it. I appreciate these it took me out of the alternative crap I played years ago
this is an ok video, but personally I think the best way to learn the blues is by listening and copying. That's how ALL the greats learned. I fugured out all the positions etc on my own and I play so much better for it. But a good lesson, well put together.
Everyone's got a different set of time constraints to work with. I was lucky enough to have a lot of time when I was first starting to learn everything by ear. Not everyone finds themselves in this situation, and lessons like this allow them to learn something in the time they have.
I put together GuitarPro and PDF tabs that people who buy the full lesson can download over at StevieSnacks (dot) com. Only $5 so it won't break the bank :)

He has a strat dude, that means he has a hovering bridge, which, makes it harder to tune. so yes an hour to tune that is normal.

Since this tutorial is for beginners, do you think we can tune our guitar just by listening to your sound ?
And even if we could manage, it will probably take an hour for me, just for this song, and then another hour to tune it back :)
Otherwise, great video. Thank you.
