well, now you are entitled to your taste. yes, i admitt I feel this version, but I do too feel the Elp version, they are probably the most recognised instrumentalist in rock history, they are truely virtuosos. and their version of promenades, the sage and the great gates of kiev is really sentimental and well performed, I respect your taste though. But i really think elps version is way more professional. Here sometimes it gets too slow and long for a nonpretensious piece like PAAE.
I adore Modest Mussorgsky and really like this piece. You guys did a really good job with this rendition. I through enjoyed it and you guys are true muscians and full of talent. Totally awesome!!!
Well done. As a child living in Holland in the 1960's-1970's I visited the Evoluon several times, being an ELP fan this was a nice surprise. Good performance by all, the violinist has a wonderful touch.
ELP may be good musicians but their version of PAaE sucks. The original piece was a tribute to Mussorgsky's dead friend. The ELP version sounds like a jam session with noise thrown in. It is far from the spirit of the original. This version at lest feels right.
I was looking for the piano version of this, but your version is also very nice :-) which is not very often the case with classical --> rock conversions...
its nice what you've made of this piece.. because i am fan of both rock music and classical music and i play this one on the piano.. im no fan of rock versions of classic but for this i make an exception!! pretty good
It's better than ELP version... Too bad sound quality is so poor.

Emerson Lake and Palmer have already a great house-psychadelic version of the song
