I had dinner there in March... Lovely, modest house and compound by the standards of today's stars' and considering how big Frank was at the time he built this.
Great video, I think you will also like our latest video of real estate advertisement.

1. Twin Palms was built for Frank and Nancy Sinatra in 1947 as a weekend getaway for he and his family as a celebration of Sinatra earning his first $1,000,000; Ava was NOT on the scene yet.
2. Twin Palms is located on a lot that stretches from Via Colusa to Alejo Road in PALM SPRINGS, not Rancho Mirage. "DavidYakima" is referring to the Sinatra compound - where Frank moved after he sold Twin Palms approximately 1957.
Awesome house. This is my kind of home, not too small, not too large, and centered around the swimming pool with large windows to let plenty of sunlight in.
Actually the Twin Palms is located at 1000 Frank Sinatra Dr., in Rancho Mirage, CA, the next town over from Palm Springs while heading east on HWY 111. It is a very cool house, designed just for Mr. Sinatra... I wish I could own it, it goes on the market about every 2 years...asking price is usually about $1.6 million. Have a great 2008 summer... David, born & raised in Palm Springs
Looks like a comfortable house, humble and modest. ;))
The pool makes me drool.

I'm sure, unless there's another just like it in another room, the conical fireplace you can see at 1:22 is supposed to be a bright fire engine red.
It was mentioned in doco about Sinatra.
I imagine visually it would of had a slight matisse effect, of whom Frank Sinatra was a big fan.

Why is the piano shaped pool referred to as being "infamous"?

@Gerryinthewoods: That's the first thing I heard and was wondering why. Maybe someone was murdered in it or something haha.

Need some corrections here:
3. Mia Farrow never lived at the house.

If I was dead, I'd be mad if people where sleeping in my house and other people making money off it!

Not for Frank and his first wife Nancy. It was built for Ava and Frank.
