yeah, it turns out that is not the glow plug indicator, that's the water in fuel indicator. The cause of the power fluctuation was a loose alternator, once I got that tighten up it was smooth sailing.

Hmmmm thats odd not shore if u solved it? but thats very strange for a glow plug to be doin that did u find out wat was causeing it?
