  • 1...Capitalism? 1%? Don't these people realize that most of congress is part of that 1%? Lol ..... no mention of lobbyist?

The lobbyists, and the Dodd-Frank corruption machine fostered more political cronyism, rewarded lobbyists, entrenched incumbents, and enriched the politically connected. You would have a hard time crafting a more useful piece of legislation than the Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill.

Not only did the bill's authors instantly start monetizing their legislative

  • 2...experience by cashing out to work for the big banks; not only did Goldman Sachs declare itself "among the biggest beneficiaries" of the bill; not only did the bill give Democrats like Chuck Schumer and Barney Frank an EXCUSE to start tapping into Wall Street wealth in exchange for favorable implementation ... it also set up a battle between retailers and banks, in which politicians and their lobbyist friends are guaranteed winners.

  • Big Huge profiting banks got bailed out with our money, its every right of every America to ask why they aren't getting their own bailout. Fail.

  • these asshats do not represent me-- remember you filthy fuckers socialism is slavery

  • @100crawma They aren't advocating or promoting socialism. They are upset over the influence that big bankers have over our capitalist system. I don't think you are going to find many people in America who hate capitalism on a wide scale. But there is a HUGE issue when corporations are able to give unlimited amounts of money to politicians, influencing their votes and policies. There is also a huge issue with big business when they are writing the laws that OUR congress is signing into law.

  • @PUGS1688 perhaps you should vote out the guy that gave them all that cash Comrade President Obama

  • @100crawma And do what? Vote in Republicans? Don't you understand? It doesn't matter who you vote for anymore...both Republicans and Democrats have sold out to the American people for business interests, and both spend a lot of time and money to conceal it. Unless there is a systematic change in Washington, it doesn't matter who you vote in. These protests aren't to promote socialism or any particular ideology, it's to destroy corruption. Corporations OWN the politicians...

  • these asshats do not represent me

  • Leftist are trying to own this. And they will. These protests are turning into anti-Capitalists protests instead of what they should be pro free market, real money protests. Capitalism is NOT the problem and Socialism is not the solution. But that is how it will be framed.

  • Even though they can't say why the hippies are there, it certainly seems that CNN is siding with them.

  • @NoGuff Maybe the reason they can't say or form a thought as to why the HIPPIES do what they do is perhaps there is something to the dangers of second hand smoke.. as in BONG SMOKE . Now everybody sing.. "SMOKE ON THE WATER , FIRE IN THE SKY".

  • Brought to you courtesy of the Communist News Network.

  • @modernfreestyle HA , HA , HA , HA HILARIOUS post comment . LOVE it.

  • I hope those losers are still there when the first real cold weather streak hits New York. That will send them running back home to mommy and daddy.

  • Watching that lard ass multi millionaire hypocrite Michael Moore trying to pretend he is against capitalism makes me want to puke!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xpandergt I hear ya and agree...same goes for BITCH Susan Sarandon.

  • Imagine that these people were part of the Tea Party... this would be played out live and the message would be clear. They want to destroy America... racist bastards.

The Onion News is more relevant than CNN!

  • @jtbpnw Speaking of the Tea Party, don't you find it funny that when Tea Party rallies first started the protesters were called "nazis", "racists", "future Timothy McVeighs", etc by the likes of CNN, yet this "Occupy Wall Street" does not seem to be getting that kind of treatment? Gee, I wonder what the difference could be?

  • @bigravensfan21 We both know the answer, but I'll put it out there for any thin witted liberal who doesn't understand. CNN own and operated by liberals who make excuses for assholes like the idiots protesting Wall Street right now. It's their right... no doubt, but ffs, report the g-damn news!

  • CNN SUCKS ZIONIST COCK!

  • Seems like the usual suspects to me, anti capitalists, socialists, marxists, anarchists, anti semites, big government supporters and Obama voters.

  • @astronato

I'd say you covered the bases quite well there!

  • @astronato And me. I was there. A construction worker who puts in 40+ hours a week and is being told that I need to take a pension cut. I'm a marine vet. I'm no socialist. I just want to be treated fairly. So until you go down there and talk to the people who are struggling, you don't know shit. It's a shame that college kids needs to spend $100K for a 4 year degree, just so they can get some bull shit job, and then take 40 years to pay it off. The banks have us by the balls you shithead

  • And of course, when they say "they" control the money, "they" means "Jews."

  • @sweatyshorts You're more right then you think. In fact, Mark Levin played audio from the protest where one of these loons actually blamed the Jews for all this, pointing out that most billionaires were Jewish, and that such a small group shouldn't have all this money to "send back to Israel."

Scratch a far-lefty and you find an anti-semite.

  • @cflancop Look at the above comment posted by "Born2Flesh." Of course it's antisemitism. Blame the Jews, it's easy!

  • @cflancop ALso, you ought to see what Levin, a conservative Jew, is called by anti-capitalists and marxists. And Ron Paul supporters, who pretend to be "purists" and constitutionalists, but are really neoliberals. "Kike, neocon jew, leech" - you name it, Levin is called it.

  • @sweatyshorts You're preaching to the choir brother. It's downright disgusting. As if stripping these people of their wealth, throwing them in jail, and, as Rosanne Barr recently suggested, killing them, is going to solve anything. They act as if this ISN'T the road Adolf Hitler took Germany down, and then have the nerve to say that we are the ones with these views. Last time I checked, Hitler was a National Socialist, not a conservative.

    Once again, scratch a far-lefty...

  • @cflancop If you think Hitler was a Socialist you are a very confused individual. Hitlers beliefs placed him to the far right politically. He advocated racism over tolerance, competition over cooperation, merit over equality, dictatorship over democracy, exclusiveness over inclusiveness, common sense over theory or science. In Nazi Germany private companies owned the means of production. None of these principles are Socialist Liberal. True socialism is democracy.

  • @kryz24v You're a moron. Racism over tolerance? Where is that in Adam Smith's writings? How about Ronald Reagan's speeches? You will find it in Karl Marx's writings, however, when he calls capitalism a "Jewish disease." You see the same from this crowd. Competition over cooperation? Really? Businesses were allowed to stay open as long as they continued taking orders from the government. That's central planning. The left tries to stifle democracy at every turn.

  • @kryz24v You have Dylan Ratigan on MSNBC advocating for a revolution because the 2010 election results weren't to his liking. Same with TYT when the female twit there was cheering on the anarchist rioters in France. When have Limbaugh, Hannity or Levin even said anything similar? Exclusiveness? You mean like the leftist control campuses? Those on the right aren't even allowed to participate in classroom discussions. How about your attack on free speech?

  • @kryz24v Unless we agree with you, we can't open our mouths without being called racists and terrorists. Your last point makes NO SENSE AT ALL. Common sense is derived from intellectual inquiry you twit.

Once again, you make this ignorant statement about who owned what. The Nazis controlled the companies, and demands they work on what they were told to work on. You think Ferdinand Porsche built "the people's car" by his choice? He was order to do that.

  • @cflancop - Not at all, I do not think you are a bad person for expressing your opinion. In my statement I said the "private companies owned the means of production" . In your statement you said "The Nazis controlled the companies". I was simply defending the concept of socialism and liberalism. I believe all people are equal and should be free there for.

  • @kryz24v Freedom is found in a capitalist republic like the United States. People are free to succeed AND fail. Free to pursue happiness, not guaranteed it. Free to do and say as they please without a powerful central authority dictating how they must live their life. Get it? Of course not.

Equality in rights, not results you twit. Everyone has a shot at success, but if you don't work hard towards a goal, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO GET IT! Understand? Of course not.

    Keep dreaming you pathetic twit.

  • @kryz24v True socialism is democracy? Like in Soviet Russia? Red China? Castro's Cuba? How about Chavez's Venezuela? The had their vote stripped from them by the very kind of government you advocate. There is NOTHING democratic about socialism. Through history it has shown to be the control of the many by the few, the few being an overly powerful centralized government.

Educate yourself, if not GROW A BRAIN, before even thinking about challenging me again you ignorant pathetic twit!

  • @cflancop - Any dictatorship is not Socialism. I think the problem comes from your misunderstanding of socialism. Just because you label some thing socialist like soviet Russia does not make it socialist because it was ruled by elites not the workers or common man. This is why your Hitler reference was inaccurate.

  • @kryz24v You're wrong again. Hitler understood socialism better than you could ever. He was a pragmatist, like Stalin, and saw the need to divert from unrealistic theory. Dreamy nonsense that led China down the road to mass poverty and starvation while Soviet Russia was relatively far better off. Too hard to understand right?

Here's the thing you moron, the dictatorship of the proletariat creates a new bourgeoisie class, one that is unwilling to give up its newly found wealth and power.

  • @kryz24v They become the new elites, and in turn, create new proletariat. This new proletariat, however, is either unwilling or simply unable to overthrow this new bourgeoisie, probably because of the guilt they feel for putting them in power. Mao saw this problem and tried to create a state of constant revolution, which is what the Cultural Revolution was supposed to be. Chasing that dream cost the lives of AT LEAST 60 million Chinese. Don't get it? Of course not. You're a pathetic dreamer.

  • @cflancop - Yes true socialism is democratic that is its whole principle. That each individual or worker is empowered to have a vote or say. There has never been a government that was truly Socialist in the history of the world. Your examples prove that in your statement that the governments took away the peoples power to decide.

  • @kryz24v No it isn't. You're wrong, and history has proven time and time again how wrong you are. The socialist utopia you speak of is fiction, pure and simple. There can never be what you want because the road to socialism ALWAYS leads to totalitarianism. Why? Because if you're going to seize and redistribute wealth and power, you need a powerful central authority. Read Marx's Communist Manifesto, particularly the section about the dictatorship of the proletariat. Pathetic twit...

  • @sweatyshorts and by "control the money" they mean i'm jealous of your wealth and i want some of it.
