Their not American are they, I always thought they were, not that I gave it any thought. I heard a british accent? There is definetly the positive side, altho he sings of the river there is definetly a happy ending to a war that was never won. I love this song everytime I hear it, and this live version is just about as dynamic as the original, which i put in my record collection in October 1970. Days gone by, the horror is over, the war is won but nobody can lay claim to winning it?

Awesome 60-70's sound... yeah they look good..Peter Noone and his Hermilts look great too and have that awesome energy too. Thanks for posting.Hey Bollocart you cant be that old I was 19 when I first heard this song...were the baby boomers and we are born to stay young.
I agree with Tryin00..infectious. The chorus is 'in my mind' all the time lately. Maybe its because I've played this vid daily since I found it. Definate thanks for posting. What year was this concert?
The LP that this song comes from is Great too! I still have it ! Although my stereo system is in mothballs, it may have to be retrieved so that i may listen to this wonderful album again. If you can find on CD , by all means, purchase. Titled, (what else?) "Yellow River". Thanks for posting this 'yowieray'!
bloody great band. i remember this from ....1970? i think so. i liked it at the first hearing and i've liked it since. this is a terrific live version. thanks for the posting yowieray.
I was attending 6th grade at school when this song was a tremendous hit in Mexico. I was 12 years old and I'm 49 now. Men I can't belive it. great memories, thanks for this video.
Wonderful, wonderful. Thanks for finding this gem. You know, it just shows the astounding quality of 1970 music that a great song like this just was middle of the pack that year.
Jeff, I believe you knew in your mind and heart, this particular song would be around for a long time because you were sending a message to all of us around the world reference troops from the wars of then and now. All we need to do now is understand them! I applaud you! Thank You for Yellow River!
