It's an extremely close relationship, not like siblings...and they spend more time together and have to get along better than most married couples. Tessa teaches the reporter how to do a pair spin, and Scott says, "Okay, okay, too close". Also, the reporter asks Patrick Chan if he wakes up every morning and goes, "Oh my God, the Olympics!"

I think they are BOTH head-over-heels for each other, but they have something so beautiful they are afraid to lose it. If they DON'T marry, however, they will lose it anyway. :( Each has no one in the world who understands them better than the other. How would they ever explain the life they have share to others? It simply doesn't seem possible.

Just watching their body language on & off the ice, along with how & what they say in interviews convinces me that there's a really deep love there. . .Both of them are so young, and I do believe that once their skating career becomes less important to them that they'll let a romantic relationship develop (not that it's not already there). Yes I get that sense too. I've become obsessed with them since the Olympics began, and have been watching these montages of them on YouTube, and I have to say that the more I watch, the more I get the feeling he is in love with her and, while she has feelings of love and tenderness for him, they're not the same romantic feelings he has for her. I've gone through a similar situation in a relationship, and there is a real similarity between them and my situation.
