Surefire T1A Titan

This light rocks. Picked one up off eBay for $179 brand new. I think this light is the best edc light on the market. Over 1000 light settings. What other light on the market offers that. Not to mention the build quality just kicks butt. Worth every penny. I am not interested in carrying a cheap 20 dollar light. I edc the best because of peace of mind. Can't argue with surefire reputation. Also like the hds ra clicky.

I've used SF lights since the 90 and it's true generally speaking you get what you pay for. If a $50 cheap Chinese slave-labor made clone suits one, let them at it.

no offense, but I think you are over simplifying the whole industry / choice

First, I doubt very much the $44 import will stand up to the kind of abuse / testing that the Surefire is built to endure

Additionally by supporting an industry leader you support research, testing and improved products in the future

Sure it's easy to ignore that, but if no one bought overpriced LED lights years ago, we wouldn't have cheap ones today that's my 2¢

Hopefully people will understand Surefire lumens ratings are not grossly inflated like others. Comparing a Energizer light is like comparing a Corolla to a LS460. Materials, fit and finish, the amazing warranty and customer service, as well as UI is what you pay for...and of course just having cool gear.

Nice light. I love mine and use it often. The continuous variable output starting from less than one lumen to 70+ is awesome. I can't think of any other light that does that, let alone the build quality and warranty made in the USA.

I agree, they are a little on the high priced side, but you get what you pay for and everyone that wines about it, don't buy them. Simple as that.

Don't forget the first Titan (Limited edition) it is also like that, but only from 0-65 lumen.

I have two of them and use one alot.

Best flashlight i have ever own, and i own a few fenix as well.

hard to argue with you, this one cost a lot..

But I haven't really tested it against any others to see with my own eyes

We'll see how this one dies compared to the rest of the lights this size over time..

Well I have big hands so it's too small for me to use as an impact tool I think..

Plus the light end is a twist type, so I think any hard impact could damage the switch, etc

However the bottom end (where the lanyard attaches) would make a good impact device I bet
