  • you missed a step at :47s

  • I like the way you arranged the disassembled parts is such a way that it will be easy to assemble it again. =)

  • what did you repaired?

  • Whoa that was awesome to watch, i aint touching mine now lolz :0

  • Slow the dang thing down, I want to see you actually repair something not just take it apart and put it back together. BTW looks like you just reversed the vid not actually put it back together. Dude ! What was broken what did you actually repair? Want to show us then show us! Thanks cool but not very much help here Bro!

  • Anyone know how you'd fix a chipped contact point? Bought a lens but one of the contact points on it is missing a tiny fragment and I haven't the time to send it off for a replacement lens!

  • Hey Brother I have a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 with an error camera cant see lens .. Can I buy part for the lens? I havent open it yet. I have a similar problem with my tamron 28-75 f2.8 open it found a screw inside put it back together and not problems but this seems to be more complex, any ideas?

  • where can i get a focus motor for a tamron 70-300mm

  • i bet it doesnt work now

  • But does it blend?

  • I have apo sigma 170 to 500 I like to clean inside dust ?

  • SCARY !

  • good work i tihing 30min is nice time ! :)

  • sigma lens assembly is pain in the arse

  • no screws left?! BAD!

  • Don't try this at home!

  • Woulda been cheaper to buy a new one :P Sigma's are cheap :P

  • it took him aprox 37 min too fix that one:)

  • it took him aprox 30 min to fix that one:) A lot of parts in there.

  • Hi, I wonder if I could say as they are connected the cables that are inside the camera lens canon XL2, since my cables were disconnected... plis... i hope you can helpme

  • WOW, you did that very fast, LOL!

  • I just broke a little from my 70-200 for trying this. Luckily, it wasn't an important part, and its still working, and still with fungus :(.

  • Great video, I'm running in to lens from all over the place with fungus issues and would be great to have the ability to repair lens, they sell them real cheap, I might give them a go, it looks eaiser than a laptop or a DS.

  • haha who is gonna try this

  • Comment removed

  • May I ask if this lens is comparable to nikkor built from the inside?

  • This would be great it you gave some instruction.....

  • Dam. Your good!

  • it looks lik a space shuttle module

  • Not sure I would let him near my lens. No dust precausions, is a big no no

  • Actually he is working in conditions just as they are at the factory. I have Nikkor lenses straight from Nikon with dust in them. The dust really wont effect image quality. It is way too small to effect light levels and it will never be in focus unless your lens can focus inside of itself.

  • @march4444 dust effect the image quality i hv nikon18-135mm lens with dust inside . images are blury and light is low in viewfinder

  • excellent. I did the same thing to my 16-35mm F2.8L II. Had a accident and went swimming. Fixed it right up. Quite easy actually no different to repairing a laptop. Even easier because less diagnosing.

  • I like very much this video!

I just curious & intending to repaint the part that is next to tripod colar. Mine has totally lost its "Zen" paint and nobody here give service for it. So, DIY is the only way.

  • You are crazy, bro, LOL. I was scared while watching it. OMG!

  • how do u find or buy the little thing that you screw on for a fisheye to go cause i dont have one so i cant put my fisheye on my camera cause the screw on thing is gone???

  • wow, that's fast work. was the HSM ring replaced?

  • id be way to scared to do this to mine!!

  • radiohead and photography, my two most favorite things all in one video. thanks.
