@usrules84 There were quests during the scourge invasion world event. Putress was in Shat making you run errands for him and test out the new plague..... and I'm almost certain the plague quests you do in Howling Fjord aided him in some way too, but I'm not entirely sure.

I did this yesterday, alone, and only made it through due to Varian's Steroid buff and auto-heals for 10k.. Very fun.. Especially when you get to the end and see he was a cheap bastard and didnt give you enough rewards..

your friend is on the horde but he still played as the regular players, the important guys in this one are king varian and jaina proudmoore

This is all for a quest. That is not the lich king. You cannot kill the lich king,yet.
