  • he goes on about the environment yet he drives ll these fast cars and I bet he takes power showers

  • 5:17 Lorriane (If that's how to spell you name), would it surprise you to know that China, and Korea celebrate Singles' Day?

  • just fall in love lorraine's accent .. so nice to hear

  • the apostrophe in this case comes after single, it's an adjectival possession

  • On T.v. there's a commercial about this show where a piece of song comes in, I have looked it up so I can download it but i can't find anything.

"Money money money moneeeey, money.." + a nice bass guitar thats all you hear in that song.. can anyone please notify me cause i have been looking fot that song for quite a while now. Thnx!

  • It could be "for the Love of Money" by the O'Jays

  • I disagree with Lorraine completely, The singles'day card (wherever the apostrophe is) was not rubbish at all, way better than the green card which was more of a lecture than a greeting card. However it is true that the date was not right because of the Valentine's day overload of cards. Right decision in the end to forget about the date

  • I totally would have bought Singles' Day cards!

  • Nick Hewer was quite funny in this episode when referring to the apostrophe

  • I think the Single's Day was a much better idea, I can see myself getting one of those cards to give to my friends so we could have a laugh and maybe get drunk watching a cliched chick-flick.

Also: The apostrophe goes after the s because the day belongs to everyone who's single and therefore is multiple.

  • I'm gonna look for a singles' day card in the card shops on 13th February.

  • @fffdavid Exactly. It's plural and possessive, as there is more than one single person and the day "belongs" to them.

  • Pluto is still in debate. if the majority of people will still refer to it as a planet, then so be it.

  • at 1:05 on his bike he reminds me of London Mayor Boris Johnson

  • Pluto isn't a planet.

  • smartass. It used to be a planet until recently. Can you tell the difference between a planet and a non-planet?

    silly.
