I'm a medical assistant and I'm interested in working with people going through any rehabilitation. I don't see any videos helping amputees with things they might not k now. Your videos are very informative and you could offer assistance to other amputees. As for the "devotee community" disrespectful ones should be ignored.

There is nothing to "get" about the attraction to amputee's. Ask someone who is gay why they are gay. Ask yourself why you were attracted to your husband. Mostly it's a case by case circumstance. I feel that all people regardless of their sexual orientation or preference are just that, people.
Concerning the perceived vulnerability of a disabled woman, I believe that such a motivation for interaction with disabled women is a fault at best. Rather, I find that the strength and perseverance such a woman possesses to be highly desirable. Regardless, as in any relationship, physical attraction is secondary to a connection on a mental and emotional level. In short--a relationship based solely on physical attraction is doomed to fail.

As far as the attraction, I know that relationships dont work out like that, but when trying to understand this subject, the answer isnt immediately clear, so I tried to take it back to the basics. I got a warning about them from an amputee friend. He set me all kinds of info. Devotees and Wannabes! What is up with that! These people need to seek help! There is something wrong in their head. I can see falling in love with someone that is an amputee but that is not what they are doing! I could see an amputee seeking an amputee but these people are messed up! Wannabes are even crazier! They pretend to be and some even try it them self's! They all just have eggs for brains.
After getting so many emails from them, I'm starting to see a different side of it. id guess for those for whom its not about vulnerability and their own insecurity it might be about reflection and self awareness, and an unusual condition pushes you in uncharted territory which shapes character; independence, reason and sensibility
and for lurkers - that just comes with the territory, its a completely public outlet with a very low contact treshold, wouldnt overestimate it, but the way you address it is interesting, really concise

Being thin and fit, or even slightly too thin is different from true anorexia. Being specific, when the fat starts disappearing from the body from anorexia and bones start becoming more feature-like, its usually turn off as the girls start to also look more sickly and weak from lack of... well everything.

The truth of the matter is that no one has any answers for the attraction, especially the psychological and psychiactric community! All the phallic theories of attraction are quickly voided because many devotees find attractive HD and HP amputees.

Harassment is responsible for driving many amputees off of youtube. Removing all of their videos is understandably and unfortunately the usual response to this type of harassment. Unfortunately, as a result, many amputees cannot connect with other people with similar problems over normal social networks. Some guys devotee or not just do not have a clue. More public callouts like this are necessary to drive home the point that this is not OK eventually some of the worst offenders may go away.

Being engaged with an amputee woman I'd consider my wife as perfect. Being new to this topic of people finding amputees attractive I think Your argumentation is pretty understandable. You might get a more diverse picture. Unfortunately "seekers" aproach You in an unappropriate way. "Finders" do not appoach You cause they've already found and there is no reason for bad behaviour at all. I think it's pretty cool what You are doing here. I got a warning about them from an amputee friend. He set me all kinds of info. Devotees and Wannabes! What is up with that! These people need to seek help! There is something wrong in their head. I can see falling in love with someone that is an amputee but that is not what they are doing! I could see an amputee seeking an amputee but these people are messed up! Wannabes are even crazier! They pretend to be and some even try it them self's! They all just have eggs for brains.

After getting so many emails from them, I'm starting to see a different side of it. Yes, there are those who don't know how to control themselves as with all men...and women too, but there are others that are simply attracted with no twisted means behind it...I'll be posting another video soon about all of the replies.
