Thank you, Project Renew, for showing the world what it means to truly care for one's neighbors, be they next door or thousands of miles away. Land mines are the detritus of yesterday, and must be removed today to make way for the future.
Thank you for this excellent Humanitarian effort to repair suffering. Regardless of where the burden, lays the outcome is shared. it is rewarding to see an organization taking responsibility for the past without hesitation. This is a well produced informative video, and I look forward to supporting this program!
To hell with Vietnam. They made their war torn bed for over 50 years of warfare against themselves first of all and against all those that would have helped them. Vietnam had a chance to receive billions in aid if they only found a peaceful resolution to their civil war. They had to fight their brother communists in Cambodia and conquered Laos too. The evil tat takes place in communist Vietnam today is still unspeakable. To hell with them all forever.
The Soviet Union and China as well as many Soviet bloc countries as well as North Vietnam contibuted to billions of artillery, mortar, RPG's, mines, etc to the war effort. It was North Vietnam that continued the war after signing a peace agreement in 1973. Vietnam shares the biggest burden for its own people's sake.
Thank you very much for this very informative video. The numbers of people that continue to be maimed and killed in Vietnam and Lao are staggering. But the video did give hope, because for what is a small monetary donation by US standards, much can be achieved. Thank goodness there are organizations like this helping.
