  • You are my favorite clawhammer picker. Wonderful touch! I sometimes wish your left hand was viewed from a different angle so I can tell exactly what you're doing. I eventually find it all but it's tougher. Angeline the Baker is a masterpiece but the subtleties are a killer to figure out. Regards, Jay up in Alberta

  • @35573712 Thanks a bunch Jay. I'll try a different angle on the next banjer tune I post.

  • thanks

  • Sweet!!

  • Thanks, now I'm off to re-tune my banjo to double c!!

  • Hi mate, sorry to ask a novice question, but what tuning are you using here? I return to this posting again and again. Thanks

  • @KingMilesTagoyet that would be double C, cause it's the best! (gCGCD) ..and thanks again for the kind words.

  • Sounds better and better every time I listen. Inspiring. I'll get there one day.

  • Very nice and melodic. I just orderd a Bart Reiter Galax. Trying to make the transition from bluegrass 3 finger style ( I have a Stelling Bellflower). This clawhammer stuff is tough for an old picker. Loved your clean style.

  • Lovely!
