This part of celebrity sucks: being under a microscope about your teef, toofeses, and everything else. David probably had to get them fixed because of nicotine and meth mouth. Those chemicals wreck havoc on your teefs, as does alcohol, and you could lose your teeth if you don't take care of them. That's stretching it a bit to say he fixed his teeth b/c he started hanging with models and that pretty, prefect, world he is now part of, lol. Common people are aware of dental health's importance.

He has got dents and he's got a tatoo. That's it! He is one of the less who are only getting older the way they should! In regards to work done on his teeth, it's a medical fact that if people don't take care of their teeth, it causes other serious health problems, so thank God he went to see a dentist. Was some of this dental work cosmetic? probably, but so what. In terms of a face-lift? don't mistake the fact that he quit killing himself with drugs with a face-lift. His thin face in 1975 was due to using cocaine. Everyone looks different when they stop using drugs, it's great he stopped and is still alive!
His"fang-like" teeth were so damn awesome... especially his canines. That was partly what made him look so tantalizing and feral in the film Labyrinth.
I regret that he used plastic surgery. Yes, he has grown old. Yes, he is almost 63. Yes, too many people care too much about physical beauty. But he got so much facelifts he doesn't look like his former self at all. It's painfully obvious that his current features are fake. Such a shame... he used to look so bloody handsome :(

Nah, his eyes are iconic. He'd never change them. And I don't think he can, anyway. His left pupil is permanently dilated and appears to be a different color due to him getting punched by a school friend when he was a boy and I don't think it's "fixable" In terms of his teeth, I think he's sexy no matter how they look :)

In regards to work done on his teeth, it's a medical fact that if people don't take care of their teeth, it causes other serious health problems, so thank God he went to see a dentist. Was some of this dental work cosmetic? probably, but so what. In terms of a face-lift? don't mistake the fact that he quit killing himself with drugs with a face-lift. His thin face in 1975 was due to using cocaine. Everyone looks different when they stop using drugs, it's great he stopped and is still alive!

His"fang-like" teeth were so damn awesome... especially his canines. That was partly what made him look so tantalizing and feral in the film Labyrinth.
I regret that he used plastic surgery. Yes, he has grown old. Yes, he is almost 63. Yes, too many people care too much about physical beauty. But he got so much facelifts he doesn't look like his former self at all. It's painfully obvious that his current features are fake. Such a shame... he used to look so bloody handsome :(

the photos they used for the video are not the most flattering. The photo of Bowie in his Ziggy days especially......
It makes it all the more noticable when you contrast it to Bowie in the early 80s, like the Serious Moonlight dvd for example. It's unbelievable how good his teeth looked. You can tell every time he smiled that he knew it too. They're so white they almost glow in the dark.

Preferred his teeth so much more during the early 70's. It adds to his character. It's like Madonna getting rid of the gap between her teeth! The narrator says "Bowie's become far more glamourous and more like a superstar" or whatever. I don't know if it's just me but, I think he was far more glamourous and superstar-like during his Ziggy period. There was NOBODY like him.I agree with DeepUnreal. If there is a genuine problem and you want to spend all that money - go ahead. But as previous posts have said - where are the individuals. I know 2 people who have had dental work they didnt need - they are both in intermittant pain. Vanity.

i think his crooked teeth were fine in the beginning but after awhile in the 80s they were really rotting. but i prefer his 70s teeth to his fake teeth now. i don't know, they gave him more character. i think that having perfect teeth is unimportant unless the procedure is for health reasons, but now everyone's smiles look totally the same. look at will ferrel's teeth. they're yellow and crooked, but who the hell cares?

Nah, his eyes are iconic. He'd never change them. And I don't think he can, anyway. His left pupil is permanently dilated and appears to be a different color due to him getting punched by a school friend when he was a boy and I don't think it's "fixable" In terms of his teeth, I think he's sexy no matter how they look :)
